Appetizing Explorations @ Summer Fancy Food Show 2017 (Part 3)

Hey there my fine foodie friends!!! It’s nice to see you again as I continue along with the explorations of the 2017 Summer Fancy Food Show. This event has been so much fun and I am not just saying that. It’s also been rather filling and I am certainly going to need to get on a better regimen of exercise once its over – it is summer after all. This treat was completely new to me. Mochi. Its a small ice cream treat and if I had the chance I would have eaten about eleven of them. No joke.

I know that I mentioned my love of cheese in an earlier post but let me add to that the cured meats appreciation.  Salami, Sopressata, Chorizo…..YUM.

Before this years show, I’ve only ever sampled kimchi once before and that was during an adventure with our good friend Skeleton Pete Parrella.   We were in Koreatown at the time and it was a great dining experience.  This stuff was tasty.summer fancy food show, summer fancy food show 2017

Though I’ve some Russian ancestry, I do not love beets.  Pickles are my win win thing though.

Looks like this will bring us to the end of the wandering that I did on this particular day. The event spanned three days in full but I missed the first one based on a scheduling mishap so I began to check it out on the second day and tried to cover as much ground as possible.
