We have arrived my friends. The culmination of some “22” Marvel Studios films has all led us to this moment and “Avengers: Endgame” will be playing EVERYWHERE starting today. Some folks saw the late night advance viewing last night so I hope they are mindful of spoiling it for the rest of us. I’ve been discussing the film a lot on my PiercingMetal website and a number of trailers and other treats can be explored over there by clicking HERE. Now let’s review the Official Poster, premise and casting of this sure to be monumental release.
The Premise: Following the events of Avengers: Infinity War, with half of the universe killed in an event dubbed “The Decimation”, the universe lies in shambles and the remaining Avengers and their allies must reassemble to repair the damage caused by Thanos and bring harmony back to the universe. As you know, we post a LOT of film content here on “The Chronicles” and sometimes I will defer you to my PiercingMetal.com website while at other times will do the same post. Today we use the same post with a little creative editing because this kind of film is just too good for web traffic which is always something we want happening. Here we go with the thoughts that I ran over there a short time ago. Good morning my friends, as you read this, the recently opened “Captain Marvel” film has achieved a worldwide box office take of $524 million dollars. As you know, the character is going to be a pivotal component in the next chapter which happens during “Avengers: Endgame” which makes me stoked to have found a brand-new trailer being revealed only minutes ago. Let’s take a look but put the coffee down before you watch. Trust me. After this you can enjoy the expansive cast, revealed premise and the Official Theatrical poster.

PiercingMetal Thoughts: This was a seriously somber trailer and didn’t show too much action as much as it showed the characters dealing with the outcome from the preceding film. As you can see by the casting, just about everyone is going to be in this film and that makes me really excited for the promotional posters to come since I always share those. It was interesting to not see Captain Marvel at all in this first clip since we know she is a part of the solution and if you missed our showcase of that second trailer just click HERE to be up to date. I’ll close up by asking what you think about this and you can share your thoughts down in the comments below.
Back in May, I shared the trailer for the DC Animated Feature “Teen Titans Go! To The Movies” and if you missed that one please click HERE to be on point with the rest of the scoop. Now, as I’ve noted before, the live action DC Universe is a tad lackluster but they sure seem to be doing great things with the animated series and films and with that said I’ve been adding posts about them to the PiercingMetal.com website. With “Teen Titans Go!” being aimed at a younger audience, I decided to post the stuff about it here and that film opens today in theaters everywhere. Let’s take a look at the Official Theatrical Poster, and expanded voice cast list and some premise shall we.
The Plot:
The Teen Titans learn that almost every hero in the DC Universe has their own films, ranging from Batman and Superman, to characters like Aquaman and Alfred! That said, they search for a director for their movie. But the Hollywood director Jade Wilson rejects their offer due to the fact that because of their recent actions over the past few years the Teen Titans can no longer be taken seriously. However, they find a window of opportunity for their own movie by having their own nemesis in the form of Slade, who plans to mind control the entire Justice League and take over the world. Hey readers, I hope you had an enjoyable Fourth Of July weekend. Now that the holiday weekend is past us, its time to get small again and I mean down to Ant-Man size as the sequel to his film opens today with “Ant-Man and The Wasp”. As you might already know, he was not a part of the recent “Avengers: Infinity War” which means that film took place AFTER the events that we shall be enjoying in this feature. Let’s get a look at the theatrical release poster, premise and casting to gear you up and in case you missed them on the racks, its still probably possible to get your hands on the issues of the “Ant-Man and The Wasp” themed True Believers comics from Marvel. Just ask your local retailer about them and use THIS POST as a guideline.
The Premise:
Set after the events of Captain America: Civil War, Scott Lang tries to balance his home life as a father with his responsibilities as Ant-Man, when Hope van Dyne and Hank Pym present him with a new mission to bring to light secrets from their past, requiring him to team up with van Dyne as the new Wasp.
