Greetings my friends, it is great to find you joining “The Chronicles” of Piercing Ken on yet another adventure. The lyrics of “Born To Be Wild” begin with the phrase of “get your motor running, head out on the highway” and while I think the guys in Steppenwolf were referring to being on a motorcycle, I’m going to have it apply to our exploring the annual and ever popular New York International Auto Show that will be opening up at Javits Center in just a couple of days. Today I am coming to you from said event on its Media and Industry Day and rushing to get some images up so you know what you are in store for. As with our previous narratives like this one, its mostly a visual display with limited jibber jabber from me but I hope you have fun. Let’s go.
One of the personal highlights for me at the Ford pavilion is their wonderful setup of LEGO bricks. They have a cool race car driver for you to pose with and a building station that you can build a personalized LEGO minifig for yourself to keep and then use said figure on one or all of the displays. The staff always lets me make a couple of figures so I can give them away post show. I love the LEGO brand and just recently saw their latest offerings at the annual Toy Fair this past February. Feel free to click HERE to see that stuff if you like.
Alright my friends, that is going to bring us to the end of this chapter from our exploration of the New York International Auto Show. It was a blast and don’t you worry as I’ve got a whole bunch of other photos to share with you from this adventure. You’re also going to want to check out our Official Instagram as I’ve loaded up a healthy batch of images that you will only see on that profile. Click that text, “like” as many images as you want and don’t forget to give the profile a follow. While you wait for more here on the website, just click through to some links as well. Don’t forget to order your tickets for the show that opens to the general public on 4/19.
