It was just just under three months ago that we first got the teaser trailer for the upcoming Walt Disney Pictures film “Christopher Robin” and now at long last we can enjoy the official full trailer and speak a little bit about it. I’ve even secured the casting, premise and theatrical release poster for you to examine below. Let’s continue.
The Plot: Christopher Robin, the little boy from the Winnie-the-Pooh stories, is now all grown up and has lost all sense of imagination. Pooh and his friends from the Hundred Acre Wood re-enter Christopher’s life to help him find it again.
Ewan McGregor as Christopher Robin
Orton O’Brien as young Christopher Robin
Hayley Atwell as Evelyn Robin
Bronte Carmichael as Madeline Robin
Mark Gatiss as Giles Winslow
Jim Cummings as Winnie the Pooh, Tigger
Brad Garrett as Eeyore
Nick Mohammed as Piglet
Toby Jones as Owl
Peter Capaldi as Rabbit
Sophie Okonedo as Kanga
Piercing Ken Thoughts: Now that we’ve gotten a better look at the film, it sure does look like its a charming bit of cinema. I loved the Pooh characters growing up and seeing them in the “Real World” sort of fashion based on the animation capabilities of today made me nostalgic. This could be a very fun film for the family and while I’d like to see it I don’t know how my summer is going to be with the demands of the other website so it might be a wait until PPV for me. What did you readers think of the longer trailer? Interested? Please dish.
