Hello my friends and welcome back. For those who are late to the program, this is the second chapter of a two part narrative discussing the recent “Black Tie, Black Leather” event that was held at Harley-Davidson of NYC. I had been fortunate that PiercingMetal was among the accredited press at the showroom for the unveiling of several new bikes and if you didn’t see the first chapter yet, please click HERE so you are up to speed and then come back and continue the journey with us. Skeleton Pete and I were having a blast exploring this event and now its time to get to the rest of the nights fun. Get your motor running.
I’m going to jump around a little bit in this post since its going to feature a whole gamut of items. These looked like sturdy backpacks.
There were several awesome vendors in attendance at the party and attendees could sample the wonderful William Wolf bourbon. I’m not really a spirits guy and I was loving this. Of course this should only be enjoyed in moderation.
Our bartenders had nothing but smiles and of course a great supply of tasty drinks for the guests. I went with beer for the most part.
I love a good ring and perhaps I will add to my collection of them with one of these. Lots of skulls as you can see.
Our hostess was showing off the cool belts at the store in this shot. I think her name was Jen. What a style to these belts.
This model was making some heads spin and was of course lovely as all get out. She actually reminded me of Storm from the X-Men. I am sure you’d agree if you did a quick search for the character in Google.com
This display was from the Cupcake Cartel NYC and their offerings were delicious. Very rich and loaded with taste. I ate far too many of these that’s for sure.
This is hostess Gabby. Her beautiful leather number showed off some amazing ink. I enjoyed talking to her this evening.
Now tell me this isn’t the coolest thing. A taxicab motorcycle or actually a bike designed to look like a NYC yellow cab. This was on a rising platform for all to see and it was pretty awesome. This lift is regularly used to bring a customers bike to the main floor from the depths. Tonight it was showcasing this fantastic tribute to a NYC staple.
This is Mr. Avi Jacobi who is the owner of Harley-Davidson with Jim Maguire the GM and Parts Manager.
Here’s a chapter of a local motorcycle club enjoying the night.
This is Tattoo Tony. You might have heard Bret Michaels of Poison mention him on some programs over the years.
This is DJ Jess and he was spinning the tunes much to everyone’s delight this evening. He played some really good stuff. I liked that.
The Maguire Brothers of Harley-Davidson of NYC. Hello gentlemen.
Hey here’s Aleks enjoying a moment of calm with her BF Ali. I know Ali from his days in the band Wild Street.
Our dear friend Chloe Valentine who was instrumental in the evening’s success.
I caught you enjoying those cupcakes too Aleks LOL. Now please give me one also 🙂
Wow can you believe that Tupac Shakur was here with us too!!! Wait a second. That’s actually Richard Garcia who is an impersonator of the late great Rap legend. You have to admit that he is on point. I only called him “Pac” when I encountered him at the party. That’s where we were now in case you were wondering.
I couldn’t pass up the chance to get a shot with the two lovely ladies and I think 2014 will be a “less cheeseburger” year for me.
The backdrop on the wall of the downstairs showroom was a fantastic NYC visual and guest would stop for a photograph as the night went on. Here’s our hostesses Katherine and Gabby with Pac.
Miss Chloe Valentine is here with other guests. Next to her is a chap she said was Pablo Escobar Jr. and of course there’s the Tupac impersonator.
This stylish lass said she was a singer but she didn’t send me any links to investigate. If she ever reaches out I shall append this line
The awesomeness of Gabby and Katherine. So much positive energy in the room thanks to these two ladies.
Maybe some of you music fans know the dude standing in the middle in this photo, if not that’s Frank Ferrer and he is the current drummer for the band Gun’s ‘N Roses.
This is Miss Lexi Love and she is a model, brand spokesperson and former adult actress. She was looking fabulous tonight so enjoy a few photos of her.
That’s “Brimstone” – He’s a wrestler who we’ve met at the NY Comic Con and even the Hot Sauce Expo and its always great to catch up and learn what he is doing with his creative ideas.
Here’s Vas Kallas of the Industrial group Hanzyl und Gretyl. Vas was also a member of the Cycle Sluts from Hell way back in the day.
The girls show off the super cool shirt that was in the goodie bag. I was even able to get a couple for some friends which was nice since there were so many to give out.
Here’s NYC fashion designer Michelle Savoia having a grand old time posing on the new bikes. That is his daughter Gabriella. Michelle is always fun to see at events. Such an energy.
This lovely is Miss Annamaria Pinna and she is the lead vocalist in an interesting NYC band named Vajra. Really good stuff.
The girl on the far left sporting the horns is Miss Kristina Kiss and we’ve met her before. She is a fantastic designer and runs SSIK Designs.
And that my friends brings us to the end of this little presentation. I hope you enjoyed it because I sure did. It’s fun to have this outlet showcasing the world outside the Metal scene and who knows, perhaps more like this will come and be presented on your computer screens or other more mobile device in the new future. If you’re in NYC make sure to drop into the Harley-Davidson of NYC showroom to see some of this stuff up close and personal. You can tell them that you learned about them from this website as we are never against any mentions. See you next time.
