The fans of Disney’s “Mulan” were really getting excited for today because it’s the day that the live-action film was supposed to be released in theaters everywhere and based on this dreaded Coronavirus Pandemic, all of the clubs, arenas, movie theaters and pubs are closed to the assembled public. The officials don’t want to risk anyone getting sick as this virus seems nasty and powerful. It’s better to be safe than sorry. My original plan was to have a “Now Playing” post and instead I am sharing the posters that I wanted to showcase a few weeks ago. I figured that I might as well do something with the date to play on the topic of the film. We do have a lot of trailers for you to enjoy already so please consider clicking HERE so it can show you all of the “Mulan” concent on a new tab. Below you’ll find the teaser poster and then a bunch of character ones and then some from the various kinds of theater experiences that you were originally going to be able to enjoy. Shall we begin? Of course.
The Plot: When the Emperor of China issues a decree that one man per family must serve in the Imperial Army to defend the country from Northern invaders attacking China, Hua Mulan, the eldest daughter of an honored warrior, steps in to take the place of her ailing father. She is spirited, determined and quick on her feet. Masquerading as a man, Hua Jun, she is tested every step of the way and must harness her inner-strength and embrace her true potential. It is an epic journey that will transform her into not only an honored warrior, but one of China’s greatest warriors ever and earn her the respect of a grateful nation…and a proud father.
Here are a couple of posters being used in China and South Korea.

Piercing Ken Thoughts: At the time of this posting I’ve no actual idea about when this movie will open up in theaters and honestly considering the world that we are currently living in who knows when sitting in the movies will even be something that we can all do. So far about a half dozen concerts that I was to see for PiercingMetal.com have been postponed until way later in the year and a few conventions and trade shows that we do here for “The Chronicles” have found the same thing happening. Let’s hope this is a quick hit and go away sort of thing and that our people in charge do right by their people and keep everyone safe. Sorry for soapboxing for a moment there so yeah about “Mulan”, I wonder if it will go straight to the Disney+ service instead of being released at all or maybe straight to home video releases. Only time will tell and I hope you liked these posters. Some of them are rather exciting.
