For the past few days I have been sharing my photographs from a recent visit to some friends who live up in Newburgh, NY. Before I caught my train my buddy suggested that we do a quick visit to Cronomer Hill Park which was on the way to the station. In this park is an elevated tower that lets you see across the Hudson Valley quite clearly. Depending on the weather you have with you this can be a wonderful visual. Fortunately for us, this was a very nice day so in we went.

I shot a quick video with the trusty “sidearm” Cybershot camera that I always try to carry for good measure. I felt that it would capture the grandeur a little more than the images alone. Don’t mind the slight banter from Pete and I. I was trying to keep quiet for a change but somehow that just never seems to work out for me. I hope you enjoyed this little presentation and I hope even more that you are able to see it for yourself in person sometime in the future. The parks official website will help you plot that little adventure out if you can do it. Since this is a short visit, its best to add it to a battery of other adventures in the region.
