Several days ago when I posted the second trailer for the Universal Pictures film “Dolittle”, I promised to return to showcase a few of the promotional posters (trailer post HERE in case you missed that). Now it’s time to enjoy a whole bunch of colorful character posters. I’ll begin with the Official Theatrical one for good measure and then continue along down the line. Enjoy.
The Premise: After his wife’s death seven years earlier, the eccentric John Dolittle, famed doctor and veterinarian of Victorian England, hermits himself away behind the high walls of Dolittle Manor with only his menagerie of animals for company. But when Queen Victoria falls gravely ill, a reluctant Dolittle is forced to set sail on an epic adventure to a mythical island in search of a cure, regaining his wit and courage as he crosses old adversaries and encounters wondrous creatures. Piercing Ken Thoughts: As you already know from my past posts along this nature, I don’t really add much to the mix after delivering all of the poster images to you. I did like these for sure and feel that the movie looks rather charming. I am most likely not going to be seeing this one though since I am planning on catching “Birds Of Prey and the Fantabulous Emancipation of one Harley Quinn” when that opens in February right before I roll into the annual Toy Fair. What did you readers think of these posters? Your input is always most appreciated. We’ve got one more on this topic and that will be the film opening day. We sure do hope you’re enjoying all of our Pop Culture features and can say that there are going to be a LOT more coming based on all of the films that will be coming out this year.
