The OZY Fest Lineup and Dates

One of the things I like to do with this Lifestyle Blogsite is to constantly keep you in the know about things to do and see around the city. When I learned the lineup about the upcoming Ozy Fest I opted to share that along with a little bit about the event. Since this information was new to me, I took it right from their website.

About OZY Fest: OZY Fest was born out of our deep belief that broad curiosity — about people, ideas, and culture — fuels meaningful and rewarding lives. Featuring two full days of live music, interactive art, cooking demos, and stimulating conversation with leaders across disciplines and political leanings, OZY Fest offers a rare opportunity to engage with forward-thinking artists, business leaders, presidential candidates, writers, teachers, students and more — all while chowing down on great food in the sunshine of New York’s Central Park

Now in its fourth year, OZY Fest has been dubbed “the only NYC summer festival you need to attend” by Thrillist and “all that one could dream of in a New York summer festival” by our friends at Boston University. Unlike other events, at OZY Fest you are part of the conversation.

The Talent: John Legend, Miguel, Tove Lo, Alex Rodriguez, Trevor Noah, Malcolm Gladwell, Rachel Ray, Padma Lakshmi, Spike Lee, Mark Cuban, Lauren Powell Jobs, Beto O’Rourke, John Kasich, Kirsten Gillibrand, Stacey Abrams, Jameela Jamil, Arizona, Dulce Sloan, Deepak Chopra, Barbara Corcoran, Mark Lasry, Cindy Eckert, Marcus Samuelsson, Elizabeth Vargas, Robert Herjavec, Ronny Chieng, Natalie Wynn, Dr. Oz, Thasunda Duckett, Ben Cohen, Kiano Moju, John Stessel, Jazzy Amra, Kat Cunning, Tom Rhodes, Mecca Verdell, Jeremy Zimmer, Andrea Brimmer, Dr. Ira Byock.

Piercing Ken Thoughts: This isn’t something that I am interested in myself but perhaps you readers are looking forward to participating. For me a festival needs to have a lot more music than this one seems to be offering and since there are a lot of political figures listed in the talent rundown, I fear that a whole lot of talking will be par for the course. Political talk often finds me saying “Check Please” but that’s just me. Tickets and additional information can be found on the link down below. You should still be able to purchase tickets and if not, just wander aimlessly in the direct vicinity of the happening to absorb what you can or maybe snag a free ticket from someone whose friends bailed on them. I’ve seen stuff like this happen over the years. Closing up I do wonder who out there is interested in this. Chime in down below in the comments section to let us know you are out there. Remember that the event is on July 20-21st.
