Hey there my kind readers, I’m taking a pause out of the generally hectic day to share something special with you all. So as you are probably already aware, I just love to celebrate any milestones that the creative brands achieve with our audience because its the kind of stuff that brings you deeper into the process with me. It also shows that these worlds keep on growing and entertaining our audience. With that being said, I am happy to share that “The Chronicles” of Piercing Ken website has recently published its 1,500th post on the WordPress site.
Now let me explain why I am lauding the achievement of publishing the 1.5K post as opposed to waiting unil I reach 2K because the reason is a simple one. While “The Chronicles” publishes often it’s still a lot less frequently than that of PiercingMetal. Historically speaking, the Piercing Ken site launched in 2010 but it wasn’t until around 2016 that it began to use its posts as a more professional voice. While this led to more posts happening on a semi regular basis, it wasn’t nearly as much as the PiercingMetal side of the coin. The shift to being more of a lifestyle media voice has found me covering major events like the New York International Auto Show, NY NOW and several other assorted trade shows that aren’t at all open to the public. I’ve even attended several notable art fairs like Affordable Art Fair and Artexo New York. Those shows definitely find me getting an uptick in the amount of posts being done. I will admit that this posting milestone was actually achieved over a month ago but I was so busy doing things on both PiercingMetal and Ken Pierce Media that I never got around to talking about it.
As I wrap this announcement up I can safely say that I have no idea when I will hit the 2K published post mark but despite that can say with certainty that the site has already surpassed 500K pages viewed as per the server logs. With four more months to accrue statistics I am hopeful that I will be able to say that we crossed the one million mark in our annual overview. It’s important to rally our readership troops over on the social media profiles for Piercing Ken and if you are not yet following the brand on Facebook, Twitter or YouTube please visit our Linktree down below and make that happen. I’ve often said that social is a numbers game and in order to not have this outlet viewed as being “less than” some others that are out there we need anyone who likes that we do to sound off by clicking the appropriate follow button. Now its time for me to exit and let you get back to your day as I aim to get “The Chronicles of Piercing Ken” to its 2000th Post. Chime in down below if you’d like, its always nice to hear from our readers.
