“The Chronicles” of Piercing Ken Celebrate’s First Anniversary of Official YouTube Channel

It was a year ago today that I announced to our readership that I had finally pulled the trigger and created an Official Branded Channel for “The Chronicles of Piercing Ken” website but if you missed that announcement post, I invite you to check it out by clicking HERE to be more up to speed on it all. The creation of the Channel was a long overdue agenda item and one that I was glad to finally tackle to help out the editorial face of the Piercing Ken website. Since that announcement a total of “58” videos have been posted on the Channel and the latest one was published at the beginning of September when we shared the contents of the “Sweet Suite @ Home” Swag Box. The Sweet Suite is an annual event that we attend care of our friends at the Toy Insider.

If you scroll through the videos that I’ve put up so far you will find it to be a definite mixed bag of content that all relates to the stuff I’ve posted on the website with photo gallery videos from some past trade shows and conventions along with assorted holiday features. I even decided to take a bunch of the clips that resided on my original Ken Pierce Channel down and reformat them to be presented here instead. Since I reworked them a little bit I suppose I could have left them on that Channel, but this is where they should have been in the first place so at least they are here now to be enjoyed going forward. Of course there were a select few that had too many views for me to lose by taking them down so those clips were added to a Playlist based on the topic and that seemed to work well for that stuff. I’m going to do my best to keep the flow of videos interesting but its not going to be an every day kind of thing based on running the other website and having the regular workaday routines to deal with as well. I also might do more videos that discuss the stuff we work with to keep creating content like I did in the very first video that I posted to the Channel. It was about all of the assorted social media accounts that get used by content creators and since new ones are likely to pop up over time I will have something to add to the video side as well when a new one surfaces. I’ve embedded that video down below for those of you who didn’t see it yet. It was recorded with Zoom and just walked through all the accounts and some of the websites and how they all intersect. It was fun to do and I think that most of you will enjoy it because it gives an honest perspective on how all of these items relate to brand.

As you might have surmised, I will obviously be doing a lot on the PiercingMetal Channel as well since that one is essentially my main website. Since I took content off of my personal Ken Pierce Channel and lost all those videos views and statistics, I will also be looking to replace those missing pieces with new things but I haven’t determined what those might be just yet. I will link to all of them down below and ask you to please give a subscribe, click the notification bell and like or comment on the videos that you watch. All of this adds to the engagement and the more subscribers we get the easier it is to eventually find the content paying us some kind of stipend and grow. It was a real creative oversight to not put much focus onto YouTube much earlier but I’m doing it now so I’m only looking ahead.
Thanks for the interest in this side of the creative coin. I look forward to entertaining you more and more as time goes along. Stay safe out there.
