Please allow me to take a sidebar to the regular programming but I wanted to let you know that today is the day that my PiercingMetal.com website was officially launched some fourteen years ago. Now I’ve been at this sort of creative enterprise for just over sixteen years in full, but the PiercingMetal outlets birthday is today when we went public with its existence. If you click the photo below you’ll be taken to some thoughts about the process and the anniversary along with some statistical ramblings. 2019 finds “The Chronicles” making some serious strides as well, and if I didn’t start PiercingMetal.com I would have never been compelled to start this one up. If you have enjoyed that site as well, please click through and of course “Thank You So Much”.
As usual with this sort of traffic redirection; the means to add a comment has been disabled on this post and instead I encourage that comments be left on the post on the other site if you are compelled to do so. I’ve also listed all of the PiercingMetal Social Networks for you to peruse if you’d like to see what we are doing with them. This past year we dumped the unused MySpace and the pretty barren Vero True Social and began using both Tumblr and LinkedIn more for content feeds. Google+ ended a few days ago so thank you for your service G+.

So I am a few days late with this news but its been a little busy over here at the Creative Command HQ; The other day I received a notification on the WordPress Admin Dashboard which said that a super cool milestone had been reached and this anniversary is that I had signed up for WordPress.com some ten years ago. Longer tenured readers know that I am using this blogging software on both of my websites at this time. Check out the “Anniversary Graphic” and then we shall continue along.
As I’ve noted in past posts of this kind, I love sharing what amounts to a website anniversary or maybe with this its more of a blogiversary since its for the blogging software I’m celebrating here. Ten years is a long time to be doing anything nowadays and while I’ve been using the WordPress software for that long, the main PiercingMetal website hit its 12th Anniversary back in April while “The Chronicles” is now just passed its 7th. I should have gone to WordPress a little earlier with PM.com but was afraid to make the jump when this was something “brand new”. Now, with both outlets fully using WordPress the creativity flows a whole lot easier than ever before. Let’s take a look at where these two websites stand collectively. Good afternoon readers, I just wanted to take a moment out of this rainy Monday to share the news about today being the seventh anniversary of my Lifestyle Blog “The Chronicles Of PiercingKen”. As longer tenured visitors already know, this website was launched as a space for me to share all the different stuff that didn’t fall in lines with my Music and Pop Culture themed PIERCINGMETAL.com website. During the course of the last year, I’ve made sure to keep the content flowing and while its not as often as it might be with PM.com, there are a considerable amount of narratives becoming a part of this presentation based on conventions and other events that fit best right here. Now its time to talk about the stuff that’s been changed a little bit and to showcase some fun photos that helped me celebrate The Chronicles “Lucky 7th” Anniversary and since we are discussing “luck” what is better than this visual of a slot machine from Atlantic City.
