The time has come dragon fans, the Dreamworks animated feature “How To Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World” is opening up today in theaters everywhere. We’ve supported the film over the last few months here on “The Chronicles” by showcasing the trailer reveals and the most recent one can be observed HERE in the event that you haven’t seen any of them. Before I send you off to the theaters, let’s take a look at the colorful Official Poster along with the premise and voice casting.

The Plot: One year after defending Berk from Drago, Hiccup and Toothless continue to rescue captured dragons in order to bring them back to Berk and create a bustling dragon and human utopia. Unfortunately, their efforts have also resulted in the island becoming severely overpopulated with dragons. In a response to the overcrowding, Hiccup desires to find the “Hidden World”, a safe haven for dragons that his late father Stoick told him about. Meanwhile, a white Fury[8] dragon, held captive by warlords, is given to infamous dragon hunter Grimmel the Grisly as bait for him to capture Toothless for the warlords’ use as an alpha. (c/o Wiki).

Universal Pictures: “Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs and Shaw” Official Trailer

There’s no denying the popularity of the “Fast and The Furious” series of films and if you are someone that enjoys high speed chases, mind blowing spectacles and stunts, then they are right up your alley. Now it seems as though they’ve branched out a little and are building a bit of a universe by letting two of their characters go head to head against an insidious evil. Here is the recently released trailer for “Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs and Shaw”. I’ve shared some premise and initial casting as well as some editorial notations.

The Premise: Two years after the events of The Fate of the Furious, federal agent Luke Hobbs and former-British military turned mercenary Deckard Shaw must join forces in order to stop a new threat emerging from the cyber-genetically enhanced international terrorist known as Brixton.

Now Playing: “Glass” in Theaters Everywhere (1/18/2019)

Though it’s been a few months since the last reference, I’ve posted about the film “Glass” a couple of times already in posts about the First Trailer and the Second Trailer which you can enjoy by clicking the hyperlinked text. Each of them feature some cool promotional posters so do take a moment to do that and to refresh yourself with the film that brings M Night Shyamalan’s trilogy to its close. “Glass” opens today in theaters everywhere so let’s review the main poster, premise and casting.

Illuminations “The Secret Life Of Pets 2” – The Daisy Trailer

Next year, the folks at Illumination Entertainment (who’ve given us the “Despicable Me” films) will be bringing us back into the world that happens while we are at work or school with “The Secret Life Of Pets 2”. This trailer is one that features the character Daisy, a Shih Tzu. Let’s look and if you’ve missed any of the other posts about this film just click HERE.

The Synopsis: Max faces some major changes after his owner Katie gets married and now has a child named Liam, up to the point he becomes overprotective. On a family trip to the countryside, Max meets a farm dog named Rooster, and both attempt to overcome his fears. Meanwhile, Gidget tries to rescue Max’s favorite toy from a cat-packed apartment, and Snowball sets on a mission to free a white tiger named Hu from a circus.
