Hello again my friends and welcome to what I am sure will be a fun read for you all. So we are once again celebrating the Toy Insider’s “Holiday Of Play” event and after three virtual happenings this one was back to being in-person and I was so excited about that. The pandemic made large gatherings like this difficult to do but many are slowly coming back and we will have New York Comic Con and Anime NYC returning after each bypassed a year.
It was only a few weeks ago that I attended the second-ever “Sweet Suite @ Home” which is the virtual offshoot of the Toy Insider’s popular toy industry event the “Sweet Suite”. Click the hyperlinked text for the coverage piece. With the pandemic still causing issues with larger public gatherings, the folks at the Insider determined that it was best to do this virtually one more time. This event was preceded by the first “Holiday of Play @ Home”. When the event has passed, the participants are sent a gift box and with unboxing clips a hot practice these days I have offered up thoughts and a bit more as I unbox the goodies for our Official YouTube Channel. Take a look.
I’m adding a photo gallery of the products that we received as well for good measure because this was some really awesome stuff.
Piercing Ken Thoughts: So there you have it, a whole lot of cool stuff and items that I hope you were making some notes about for your own shopping lists. I have to say that I enjoy doing these kinds of clips and if I end up at their “Holiday of Play” event in the coming months that I will do another one. I hope I can work it out because it will not be virtual and is instead back to being an in-person affair. There are so many people that I miss from this group and the vendors that it will be some proper medicine for sure. That’s all I have to say about this so I will see you next time around. Keep safe out there since this isn’t over by a long shot.
Greetings my friends, its time to lend some overview opinion to our friends over at the Toy Insider. By now I am certain that you know about them since we’ve been hitting their events for about six years but based on the COVID-19 Pandemic, their amazing “Sweet Suite” will once again be done in the virtual sense. I’m going to present the same kind of exploration as I did with the 2020 “Sweet Suite” and its companion “Holiday of Play @ Home” so let’s examine the exhibitors that are present today.
The way I did this those past times was screen grab the exhibitor room and then offered up some opinion on it all and now without any further adieu here is the virtual “Main Floor”. This presentation was more fun that I initially expected and it was like being inside a video game.
It wasn’t so long ago when we covered the annual “Holiday Of Play” event that our friends over at The Toy Insider/Pop Insider host. Much like this year’s “Sweet Suite”, the event was also done in a virtual space and a refresher of the adventure can be found HERE. Much like the Sweet Suite, when the event is over you are given a box of goodies and I am once again unboxing the swag in the video you will find below. Enjoy.
Now let’s dissect the content in photos as well for good measure. It begins with a box 🙂
Back in July we participated in the first ever Toy Insider “Sweet Suite at Home” which in a nutshell was a virtual version of their always awesome in-person happening. My overview of that can be found HERE in case you missed it. Now it was time to do their holiday event known as the “Holiday Of Play” which as expected was also going to be a virtual event. Since that other coverage worked I was going to repeat the process so into the web we go…
Here are the presenting exhibitors and I was going to try and say “hello” or visit as many of the virtual booths as possible. Now I should mention that some companies are present to ask questions while some have videos ready for you to watch with the means of sending messages to get more information post event.
