The Toy Insider Experts Reveal the Hottest Toys of 2023

This year’s hottest toys appear on one of three featured lists: the Hot 20, toys topping every kid’s wish list; the STEM 10, toys boosting STEM skills; and the 12 Under $20, fun-filled and affordable toys.

The media company also launched its interactive Perfect Present Wizard on thetoyinsider.com, helping consumers find the best toys for every child on their holiday shopping lists. The quiz asks five simple questions to determine the child’s age and interests, the desired play value and skill development, and then recommends toys based on the shopper’s budget.

Revealing The Toy Insider “Sweet Suite” 2023 Goodie Bag

Continuing along with some of the fun that was had by “The Chronicles of Piercing Ken” at this years Toy Insider “Sweet Suite” over at the Chelsea Piers. Now as some of you recall, once we had the YouTube Channel up and running for this website, I began doing unboxing clips after we had finished this event since all the participants were sent a massive Swag Box. This was loaded to the brim and made for some cool content. Now in 2023 they have changed the game and are no longer sending out the boxes and instead give you a healthy bagful of goodies to enjoy. Truth be told this will likely be better when you consider all of the package thefts that we hear about and will prevent anyone who wants more stuff from complaining that theirs never arrived. While the video is resident on the Channel, I’ve embedded it here along with the individual product photos that will follow it. Let’s go.

So as I’ve previously discussed here on “The Chronicles of Piercing Ken”, I was once again among the toy industry masses and learning about all of the new awesome products from some amazing companies thanks to the Toy Insider’s annual “Sweet Suite”. The event was held over at Chelsea Piers and in addition to photos and some social media, I did several videos for the YouTube Channel. While these clips are resident on the Channel, I’ve culled them together for our website readers as well.

Well hello again my toy-minded members of the readership, its so nice to have you back here for another narrative and one that is a continuation of some earlier posts. Now as I’ve previously mentioned, I was in attendance at the annual Toy Insider “Sweet Suite” which was held at the Chelsea Piers. It’s the place to be if you write about toys or do videos and social media about them.

The folks representing IMC Toys had these cool new baby-themed toys called “Cry Babies”. There were a whole bunch of different ones that did a number of things and they were pretty darned cute. They even had miniature versions for those who enjoy the smaller sized figures.
