I’ve been sharing toy reveals over on PiercingMetal.com for a number of years now and one of the things we really like as a collector are the figurines and action figures. Here’s The 59th Annual Grammy Award Winners List

As 2017 continues to get itself into gear, I’ve decided to use “The Chronicles” as a platform to showcase the winners list rundown of the assorted awards shows that come at us during the year. I felt this would be some good content for the larger media side of the creative fence. Last night the Grammy Awards were given out for so many genres of popular music it will make your head spin. They have some “Rock” and “Metal” categories which I speak a little about over on PiercingMetal, but that is generally done to fire up our readers should something important be overlooked. Let’s get on with the rundown that was culled from numerous other entertainment mediums for your benefit. It’s quite a list so I’d get another cup of coffee if I were you.

Greetings friends its time to sit back with a comforting beverage and peruse the list of Grammy Awards nominations as they were recently released to the public and I like to share this kind of stuff over on “The Chronicles” since its never bad for attention. “Ladies and Gentlemen….The Beatles” A 50th Anniversary (1964-2014)

Those were the words that television host Ed Sullivan said to his audience of 70 Million Viewers that night as he introduced The Beatles to the USA. According to what I have read that was thirty million homes and approximately 40% of the US Televisions. That is pretty impressive for its time. In honor of the occasion The Ed Sullivan Theater has put up a special anniversary marquee and I made sure to snag a photo for you all to enjoy.

Back in 2009 I did a little blog post on my PiercingMetal Musings announcing that the entire catalog of The Beatles was being remastered and released in both Stereo and Mono box sets. Fans that only wanted a few select albums would have the chance to snare those as well and you can refresh your memory HERE if you like.

Well now the big news is that this same catalog is finally available on iTunes and it really was not as timely as people had expected. Its been out on physical CD in the new version for over a year but there was some issues in getting the proper okays to do it in the digital manner. That made me decide to add the new news to the side blog since I was walking down 14th Street and saw that massive billboard on top of the Apple Store for all the world to see. Personally speaking, I prefer The Beatles catalog on CD and not MP3 but that is probably because I no longer have a digital music player.
