The famed F.A.O Schwarz has announced a special event for this coming Saturday called a “Celebration of 160 Years of Toys”. I’ve shared the invite and the full details for those interested down below so do please check it out.
WHAT: Together with Rockefeller Plaza, F.A.O Schwarz will host a free, family-friendly event to celebrate its’ 160th years of toys and inspiring awe and discovery. The celebration will include live performances from magicians, Broadway Cares, American Ballet Theatre Students, and balloonist’s; with sweet treats from Magnolia Bakery and Van Leeuwen Ice Cream and others, a variety of craft activities, skating with our Toy Soldiers at Flippers, the Oscar Meyer Weiner Mobile and more!

Tonight’s the night as the magnificent Christmas Tree at Rockefeller Center will be lit for the masses for the very first time this season. Crowds will be massive so know your route and time of arrival if you plan on being there in person. We suggest mass transit over driving.
