As previously mentioned, the Media High Command of “The Chronicles” AND the PiercingMetal.com website were in attendance at the annual Toy Fair and believe it or not this was our 10th time attending as a member of the press. One of the highlights of the Toy Fair is the unveiling of the products that were given the title of “Toy Of The Year” and this is a feature that I post exclusively on “The Chronicles”. Its mostly because of the age-groups of the products so let’s have the envelope please and see these winners. Some narrative and links will be interspersed as I find inspiration. Enjoy.
When I was growing up I always loved the miniature cars from both Matchbox and Hot Wheels. I am always happy to see the Mattel brand coming up with creative items year after year.
Well hello again my friends, its nice to see you here once again. As eluded to in my previous installment, I teased that I might have a few more photos from the 2019 Toy Insider “Holiday Of Play” and well….I did. If you’re new to the program of posts that I do here and are only just joining us you might want to click HERE first since it will open all the previous chapters up in a handy window that allows you to start from the beginning. I’ll just pick up from where I left off and continue with a little discourse as needed. Let’s go.
Greetings my friends, and welcome to some overview from an event that I have come to look forward to each and every year for the last few years. I’m talking about non other than The Toy Insider’s “Sweet Suite”, which is a toy industry expert curated happening that showcases some amazing companies and their upcoming awesome. With The Toy Insider launching a very geek-centric outlet called “The Pop Insider”, I decided to post more of the collector stuff over on PiercingMetal which you can observer by clicking HERE.
In keeping with the presentations from the 2016 Toy Fair, I wanted to share a quick group of images that I saw in the Playmobil booth. There aren’t a lot of them but I think you will enjoy them.
I noticed this larger than life NY Rangers figurine as I walked by their booth and sadly they were not taking any additional appointments for the day and the rest of my time was pretty locked up just the same. Fortunately, I was able to quickly zoom in and snap some photographs of the hockey figurines along with the giant Ranger. I didn’t sway from my focus and see if anything else was perfect for this post since everyone in the booth was taking care of business at this time. Next year I will make an appointment but that being said aren’t these hockey figures cool?
