Netflix Presents: “Cobra Kai” Official Trailer – The Karate Kid Legacy Continues

Depending on when you grew up, you very likely enjoyed the adventures found in the “Karate Kid” movies. The classic film found some renewed life as a continuation of the story set many decades later on the YouTube Red service. Now acquired by the folks over at Netflix a trailer for the first two seasons was just revealed in preparation for their continuing the tale. Take a look.

The Premise: Decades after the tournament that changed their lives, the rivalry between Johnny and Daniel reignites in this sequel to the “Karate Kid” films. Two dojos. One epic rivalry. The Cobra Kai legacy continues only on Netflix. Seasons 1 and 2 strike back August 28th. Season 3 enters the tournament in 2021. (c/o Netflix)

Netflix Presents: “Over The Moon” Official Trailer

It’s without question that Netflix has been a boon to us all during the pandemic and they are serving up some quality stuff day by day, or month by month since that is when the release calendar makes announcements. There is stuff for the uber geek that I talk about on PiercingMetal and the more family friendly fare that I share here on “The Chronicles”. This latest one is a computer animated feature that brings us a story from China. Take a look at the first trailer for “Over The Moon”.

The Synopsis: A girl named Fei Fei builds and flies a rocket ship to meet the moon goddess, Chang’e.

Now Streaming: “6 Underground” on Netflix (12/13/2019)

It was only a few short days ago when Netflix released the Final Trailer for the action-adventure film “6 Underground” and if you didn’t see that you should click HERE to be up to speed. This film is now available to stream on the service so if you don’t have it yet, I must ask what you are waiting for. This Michael Bay film stars Ryan Reynolds and looks like a lot of explosive fun. Take a look at the Official Poster, premise and casting down below before you hit play on your means of streaming. It’s better to go into things like this with a little bit of background.

Netflix Presents: “6 Underground” Final Trailer

It was back in October that I first shared the trailer for the new Michael Bay film that will be premiering on Netflix in the coming week. This action-adventure flick features Ryan Reynolds who most know from the role of Deadpool. If you’ve interest in seeing that first clip just click HERE before moving on to the second one. Presenting: The 2019 Gotham Independent Film Awards Winners

Back in October, I shared the nominations for the Gotham Independent Film Awards with the readership and this was the very first time that I was broadcasting this particular awards show to our audience. I mentioned that I don’t really follow much of the independent releases these days and lean more towards Warner Brothers, Universal and Disney for the superhero and monster stuff. With that being said, I am very happy to share the announced winners for the 2019 Gotham Independent Film Awards. For this rundown I’ve even left the nominated so you can see just who beat who.
