This post is primarily a visual one and is going to showcase a number of the promotional posters for the film that I found on the web. After the previously seen teaser poster, I’ll line out the film and then get into the presentation of a whole bunch of them. The cast and main theatrical poster are way down below as well so make sure you see those. Here we go.

Back in May, I shared the Official Trailer for the upcoming feature film for the hit British TV show “Downton Abbey”. If you missed that post just click HERE to get back on point. My logic in showcasing this one on “The Chronicles” was based on the popularity of the show and its large ensemble cast. As expected, such a film comes with a massive cast and this post will showcase a whole lot of their promotional posters. Find a cozy spot to sit and maybe have another cup of tea ready since there is a lot to scroll through. I’ve also added the premise and the names of the full cast below. Enjoy.

Sink Your Teeth Into “The Meg” Promotional Posters (Opens Friday)

The new Warner Brothers Pictures release is “The Meg” and it features a gigantic prehistoric shark known as the “Carcharocles Megalodon” and it opens on Friday. I was going to wait until the “Release” posting to share these posters but when my friend shared a live video to her Facebook stream that showed a really big shark in the waters of Brighton Beach with dozens of swimmers nearby I decided to post them today in advance. Gauging from the fast moving clip the shark did look big and was likely a Great White but the nearby people did seem to get out of the water without incident. That was GOOD thing for sure. So let’s begin with the “Coming Soon” poster that I first shared in the trailer narrative and once the premise of the new film has gone by you can check the rest of them out.

The Premise: Five years ago, expert sea diver and Naval Captain Jonas Taylor encountered an unknown danger in the unexplored recesses of the Mariana Trench that forced him to abort his mission and abandon half his crew. Though the tragic incident earned him a dishonorable discharge, what ultimately cost him his career, his marriage and any semblance of honor was his unsupported and incredulous claims of what caused it – an attack on his vessel by a mammoth, 70-foot sea creature, believed to be extinct for more than a million years. But when a submersible lies sunk and disabled at the bottom of the ocean – carrying his ex-wife among the team onboard – he is the one who gets the call. Whether a shot at redemption or a suicide mission, Jonas must confront his fears and risk his own life and the lives of everyone trapped below on a single question: Could the Carcharodon Megalodon – the largest marine predator that ever existed – still be alive … and on the hunt? (c/o IMDB).
