Hey there readers, I just wanted to take a moment to wish you all a very “Merry Christmas” if you are celebrating the holiday with us today.
For those celebrating Christmas, I hope that you have gotten and given out some nice presents for those who are in your circle and also that you’ve extended the kindness to a needy cause of some kind. If you haven’t, I am sure you can find some unused and in good condition clothes for a shelter, or toys for some kind of drive and maybe even old books to the library or a place like Housing Works where all the money goes for a great cause. Maybe feed a stray cat or consider adopting one that might be good company for your family for life. I know my Spooke will get some additional treats today and last night I left a big helping of food for these two related cats near my building but I digress. For this years photo, I’ve lightly modified the leather jacket from the way it has generally looked during the Trans-Siberian Orchestra shows. I used to add a few more ornaments on it, but several have broken over the years and just this past Saturday I learned that the flashing lights are NOT permitted in the arena. Oddly enough I wore them last year but the times they are a changing. I fear next year is going to be the Santa hat and the stocking only but oh well, this angle had a good run. Spooke on the other hand felt that her little Santa hat was all that she needed. Considering she is going to be “17” in early 2019 she can do whatever she likes.

Hello there my friends in the online land and of course the real world ones that are checking into the doings here on “The Chronicles”. I’d like to take a moment and wish you all a very “Merry Christmas” if this is your holiday. It’s one of my very favorite times of the year and as you can see Miss Spooke also feels the same way and is acting as Santa’s Little Helper once again. Generally speaking she is NOT a big fan of hats since she must hear everything that goes on around her. She is a cat after all.
The hat also came with this cute little Santa suit but it was a little too tricky to get her into so she opted for using it as a bit of a blanket while she waited for her nightly treats. We took this shot about a week or so ago. I am appreciative of her patience since its not always easy to indulge us weird humans when you are a pet. Well, at least I think that this is what they are thinking when they look at us and our dealings with silly but super cute costumes. I’m sorry I lost track of myself for a moment so where were we….oh yes, MERRY MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE.
We really hope that you are having or planning to have an excellent holiday today. A lot of friends started their fun last night with Christmas Eve and to many they go all out for that one too. Last night I kept it local and simple with some Chinese take out from one of my favorite places and with the Tuesday matinee performance by the Trans-Siberian Orchestra on my plate I’ll likely be making a few small things and having an easy day with a quick visit here and there for good measure. I’m at Christmas Mass at the moment and this was queued to go online nice and early to start the day off properly with our wish. Be sure to call the relatives that you can easily reach and use those unlimited texts to let friends know that they are on your mind. Be good to your beloved pets of course and just try to be an even better person than you were yesterday. Everyone can use a little personal improvement IMHO. Enjoy the holiday.
Hello my friends, and a very “Merry Christmas” to you all if you celebrate the holiday as we do of course. As Hanukkah began last night as well I will also extend a wish for a very happy one to those who are celebrating it among our readership. What a year it has been. I’m hoping that our wish finds you in good form and doing something with the people that matter most in your personal world. Family, friends, beloved animals etc. For this years image I couldn’t find a proper “costume” for Miss Spooke and it was only last year that I did the little Santa hat on her in the first place. Instead she opted to pose with the cap I will be wearing to Monday’s Trans-Siberian Orchestra show.

I happened to catch up with Mr. Claus over at a recent Sirius XM event and I swore that I had been good. Hey I don’t want the Krampus dragging me away because I have too many posts to deliver to you.
