Netflix Presents: “The Irishman” Official Trailer

Back in July we shared the Official Teaser for the upcoming Crime Drama by Martin Scorcese, “The Irishman”. As previously noted, this film was written by Steven Zaillian and is based on a 2004 non-fiction book called “I Heard You Paint Houses” which was written by Charles Brandt. Now its time to check out the Official Trailer which I’ve embedded below and also shared some premise and the ensemble casting. Dig in.

The Premise: The Irishman is the story of Frank Sheeran, a mob hitman and World War II vet who develops his skills during his service in Italy. Now an old man, he reflects on the events that defined his career as a hitman, particularly the role he played in the disappearance of labor leader Jimmy Hoffa, his longtime friend, and his involvement with the Bufalino crime family.

According to what I’ve read, “The Irishman” is the next American crime film that has been produced and directed by Martin Scorsese. The story was written by Steven Zaillian and is based on a 2004 non-fiction book called “I Heard You Paint Houses” which was written by Charles Brandt. The first trailer for this film is below so check it out and know I will return with more information at the close.
