Well hello there my friends, I am back once more to discuss the topic of the 63rd Annual Grammy Awards. Now, the show has just recently ended its super long broadcast which was done live in front of a limited audience of artist participants and hosted by Trevor Noah. As expected the Rock and Metal awards were dished out before the broadcast and this narrative will showcase the entire list which we culled through by zipping past the stuff that didn’t interest us all that much. I don’t think I have to point out that I don’t really listen to much of the stuff that was honored do I? So sit back with that last glass of wine before the work week and if you are seeing this with the morning coffee make sure it’s a strong one. Here are your winners….may we have the envelope please.

Hello again my friends and welcome back to “The Chronicles” where I am serving up another Awards Show rundown. Last night the winners were announced for the 2020 MTV EMA’s and this stands for “Europe Music Awards” in case you didn’t know that. Generally speaking, I like to post the nominations rundown and then deliver the envelope about the winners in a post but this year marks the first time that I am including these awards in our related rundowns. According to what I’ve read, they announced the list in early October and I must have been busy at the time. Presenting The Winners Of The 2020 MTV Video Music Awards

It was only a few minutes ago that the 2020 MTV Video Music Awards completed their annual awards broadcast. This year’s show was originally supposed to take place at the Barclays Center but resultant of the still quite problematic Coronavirus, was instead held at assorted locations across the city. Many segments were filmed earlier to make the production a bit easier to tie together and it was hosted by Keke Palmer. I breezed through the broadcast after programming the DVR since its mostly music I am not listening to as I’m more a Heavy Metal and Hard Rock enthusiast. Those two genres were not represented at all. Here are the winners of this years VMA’s.

2019 Grammy Awards Full Winners Rundown

The Recording Industry calls this the “Biggest Night In Music” for the year and to fans of some genres out there this is probably true. As a tried and true supporter of Metal and Rock, this is generally a disappointment but that is a matter discussed over on the PiercingMetal.com website and not here on ”The Chronicles” since the audience is a lot more varied. The Grammy’s were given out over the course of the last few hours and I’ve been researching and typing to get them all to you shortly after the broadcast. I didn’t watch more than fifteen minutes of it since “The Walking Dead” was on and that’s more important to me. Also, the disrespect of Rock and Metal with their awards being announced and given out before the broadcast even aired found me discussing the matter on the Metal site on THIS POST so do please check that out if you are so inclined.
