When I ran the first Official Trailer for the upcoming Lionsgate Films release “Knives Out” (seen HERE), I had to admit that I was hoping for another clip soon because such an ensemble cast really brings out the Google searching and quite honestly, the first one got me really curious about the film. Now we’ve got a second trailer and you can enjoy it down below. I’ve also embedded the premise and that aforementioned star-studded cast before my closing notes. Let’s go.
The Plot:
Wealthy crime novelist Harlan Thrombey invites his family to his mansion for his 85th birthday party. The next morning, Harlan’s housekeeper Fran finds him dead, with his throat slit. The police believe it was suicide, but an anonymous party pays private detective Benoit Blanc to investigate. Continue reading Lionsgate Films: “Knives Out” New Trailer→
It’s without question that I love sharing the trailers for upcoming films here and that notion is ramped up to different levels when there is a star-studded ensemble cast involved. While we at first aim to please our readership, these trailer posts are also responsible for some wonderful Google searching which is always a good thing. This new Lionsgate Films release “Knives Out” seems interesting but you can find out for yourself with the first Official Trailer. I’ll come back at the close with some editorial notions.

We have arrived my friends. The culmination of some “22” Marvel Studios films has all led us to this moment and “Avengers: Endgame” will be playing EVERYWHERE starting today. Some folks saw the late night advance viewing last night so I hope they are mindful of spoiling it for the rest of us. I’ve been discussing the film a lot on my PiercingMetal website and a number of trailers and other treats can be explored over there by clicking HERE. Now let’s review the Official Poster, premise and casting of this sure to be monumental release.
The Premise: Following the events of Avengers: Infinity War, with half of the universe killed in an event dubbed “The Decimation”, the universe lies in shambles and the remaining Avengers and their allies must reassemble to repair the damage caused by Thanos and bring harmony back to the universe. As you know, we post a LOT of film content here on “The Chronicles” and sometimes I will defer you to my PiercingMetal.com website while at other times will do the same post. Today we use the same post with a little creative editing because this kind of film is just too good for web traffic which is always something we want happening. Here we go with the thoughts that I ran over there a short time ago. Good morning my friends, as you read this, the recently opened “Captain Marvel” film has achieved a worldwide box office take of $524 million dollars. As you know, the character is going to be a pivotal component in the next chapter which happens during “Avengers: Endgame” which makes me stoked to have found a brand-new trailer being revealed only minutes ago. Let’s take a look but put the coffee down before you watch. Trust me. After this you can enjoy the expansive cast, revealed premise and the Official Theatrical poster.

PiercingMetal Thoughts: This was a seriously somber trailer and didn’t show too much action as much as it showed the characters dealing with the outcome from the preceding film. As you can see by the casting, just about everyone is going to be in this film and that makes me really excited for the promotional posters to come since I always share those. It was interesting to not see Captain Marvel at all in this first clip since we know she is a part of the solution and if you missed our showcase of that second trailer just click HERE to be up to date. I’ll close up by asking what you think about this and you can share your thoughts down in the comments below.
