I’ve shared some of the advance stuff for Disney’s live-action rendition of their classic “The Lion King” with the Official Trailer and some posters which you can enjoy by clicking the highlighted text. Now the day has come and its time to head into the deepest jungles and watch how this tale unfolds as the film opens in theaters everywhere. I’ve repeated the premise and casting below the poster.

The Premise: In the African savanna, the young lion Simba idolizes his father, Mufasa, and longs to succeed him as King of the Pridelands. Before this can happen, his jealous uncle Scar initiates a coup which results in Mufasa’s death and Simba’s exile. Disney’s “The Lion King” Official Trailer (Opening This July)

As someone who has always enjoyed the Walt Disney Pictures classic animations, I am sometimes surprised when we find that a live action version is being planned. Of course some of them look spectacular in terms of how they CGI the animals against the human interaction and its without question that “Christopher Robin” and the recent “Jungle Book” were all very well received. “Aladdin” is coming soon and looks to be fun (see our trailer post HERE) and now its time for “The Lion King” to showcase its Official Trailer. Check it out below.

The Premise: Simba, the son of Mufasa and the Prince of the Pride Lands, hopes to follow in his father’s footsteps. Mufasa’s brother, Scar, plots to betray Mufasa and take over the Pride Lands, forcing Simba into exile, where he will meet Timon and Pumbaa. Simba will have to face his destiny to be King.

2019 Grammy Awards Full Winners Rundown

grammy awards logo

The Recording Industry calls this the “Biggest Night In Music” for the year and to fans of some genres out there this is probably true. As a tried and true supporter of Metal and Rock, this is generally a disappointment but that is a matter discussed over on the PiercingMetal.com website and not here on ”The Chronicles” since the audience is a lot more varied. The Grammy’s were given out over the course of the last few hours and I’ve been researching and typing to get them all to you shortly after the broadcast. I didn’t watch more than fifteen minutes of it since “The Walking Dead” was on and that’s more important to me. Also, the disrespect of Rock and Metal with their awards being announced and given out before the broadcast even aired found me discussing the matter on the Metal site on THIS POST so do please check that out if you are so inclined. This list is long so you’re going to want to get comfortable. Here we go.
