Tribeca Film Festival Announces 2019 Jury

The film fans in the readership have been responding with enthusiasm to the number of announcements regarding the 2019 Tribeca Film Festival, and if you’d like to peruse the alerts that ran before this new one just click HERE to open a tab of them in your browser. The Press Release:
The Tribeca Film Festival, presented by AT&T, today announced the 2019 jury members who will select the winners in the film and immersive competition sections. The jurors will award work in ten different categories and honor new voices and prominent members of the creative community with unique art and monetary awards. This year’s jury features acclaimed filmmakers, award-winning actors, noteworthy producers, and cultural leaders including Angela Bassett, Rebecca Miller, Orlando von Einsiedel, Steve Zaillian, Drake Doremus, Famke Janssen, Jenny Lumet, Tig Notaro, Chloë Sevigny, and more. The 18th annual Tribeca Film Festival takes place April 24-May 5 in New York City.

For Tribeca’s 18th edition, more than 51 industry leaders were selected to honor feature length and short film categories, comprised of narratives and documentary films, as well as Storyscapes, the juried section of the Virtual Arcade, presented by AT&T. The jurors will also present the Tribeca X Award, celebrating excellence in branded storytelling at the intersection of advertising and entertainment. For the first time this year, Tribeca X will expand to four categories: best feature film, short film, episodic, and VR.

Paramount Pictures: “Wonder Park” New Trailer (Opening March 2019)

With so many movies coming out, it’s been a bit of a task keeping up with the ones for our Pop Culture section here on “The Chronicles” for sure. Much like my PiercingMetal.com site sticks to the superhero and monster films, this site pays close mind to almost anything Disney, Pixar and the other major houses that are putting out quality all-ages releases. Today is Super Bowl Sunday and I’ve read in advance that a lot of trailer were coming or being loaded up direct to their production company YouTube channels. Such is the case with the latest clip for the opening soon “Wonder Park” which was online long before the game began as you can see by our timestamp. I’ve shared stuff about this film already and if you’d like to see what’s come before please click THIS TAG. I’ve embedded different posters in each of these to make it more enticing. Now let’s watch the newest trailer. This film opens in March.

The Premise: A young creative girl named June, finds an incredible amusement park filled with fantastical rides and funny, talking animals called Wonder Land that was abandoned in the woods but soon realizes that the park came from her imagination and she is the only one who can save the magical place and revive the wonder with the help of the animals.

Paramount Pictures: “Wonder Park” Official Trailer

It was a little over four months ago when I last discussed the movie “Wonder Park” with you all when I shared the Official Teaser Trailer that was seen HERE. The teasers don’t do much but now we have a full on Official Trailer to enjoy which you can see below. I’d still click on the link for the teaser because I loaded up a different promotional poster to that post that I am using here so let’s get on down to business.

Paramount Pictures: “Wonder Park” Official Teaser Trailer

The official release of this Paramount Pictures animated feature isn’t until early 2019 but since we have a teaser trailer I figured let’s get it posted and spark up some advance interest. Here’s the brief clip for “Wonder Park” and I’ll follow it with some premise and the voice cast for good measure.
