Back in January, I was in attendance for the always fun BroadwayCon which I’ve described as being akin to a theatre-centric comic convention. It was held at the New York Hilton Midtown and it was a whole lot of theatrical everything to enjoy. As usual I posted some news and some highlights and a lot of photos were taken to be added to our feed here on The Gram but having fallen behind on everything, the plan for February or March fell off quite a bit and then, well…you know what happened in March. Since the scourge known as COVID-19 has taken over the world, I’ve been keeping myself as busy as possible indoors and you all should be doing the same. This is why I am announcing a Latergram Takeover of the Official Instagram of the Piercing Ken site. It’s mostly the fun cosplayers that I encountered along with a few other fun images so I’m pretty sure that you’ll like it. If you’d like to see other BroadwayCon stories on the website you can click HERE as that will open up a new browser tab with any of the content that’s been dedicated to this past years BroadwayCon. My first photo is down below and remember that the best way to help an Instagram profile is to like the images and maybe even comment in if you have something on topic to add to the mix.

Readers of both this AND my PiercingMetal.com websites know that we just love hitting the New York Comic Con. I started attending back in 2010 and keep the posts to the PM side of the fence when it comes to posting our narratives and images for the general public. With “The Chronicles”, I’ve begun to add more of the announcements about the event to this side based on the overall busy that is our regular posting regimen over there. That said, we just received an announcement from their Event Director with some news about some changes that will be happening for this years convention. Take a look down below.
The Press Release:
I’m Kristina, the Event Director for New York Comic Con and our resident Mother of Dragons. We are always excited to start rolling out announcements for New York Comic Con and this year even more so. The NYCC squad is hard at work bringing together the best our pop culture world has to offer and I can’t wait for you to see what they’re up to. Creating a better NYCC and making it a special experience for you is always our goal.
We’re in the business of producing fun and helping you celebrate your fandom with a few thousand of your closest pals, and where we start is with your feedback on how we can improve and do better. Piercing Ken Thoughts: I only ever attended one of the Blogger Bash events and that was back in 2016. You can revisit those narratives if you are interested by clicking HERE. The event was still pretty “new” to me and I only learned of it from our friends over at SkeletonPete.com as they had been going for a few years. Generally speaking, I miss when anything cool goes “away” but I think that perhaps this event had run its course and would be served in the larger sense by what we found happening at the “Sweet Suite” affair that ran in tandem to it. I was glad to have attended one of these at least since it helped firm up my desire to expand what is happening with “The Chronicles” blog and this has been very beneficial when it comes to our other Toy Fair adventures and the relations that have been growing with The Toy Insider people. What do you think about this news? Does it distress you? Were you one of the influential Influencers or Social Media Gurus that we encountered along the way? I’d love to get your take on this so do please chime in down below. Until next time my friends, keep it real.
Hello my friends, I am here to share the news with you that it was just about a week ago that I attended the 2017 edition of “WinterCon”, which is a wonderful comics and Science Fiction convention that is held at the Resorts World Casino in Queens. This marked my second year of attendance and I did this as a member of the Geek Press for some posts that reside on my PiercingMetal outlet. Folks that find these types of adventures interesting should click on the logo graphic below as that will open a brand new tab for you to peruse. Please come on over, we’d love to have you.
As is usual on an alert like this or “traffic sign” as I’ve come to refer to them, the means to comment on the post has been disabled. I feel that its better for you to comment over on the other website on the chapter that most compels you to do so. You might also want to lend some of your love to our Official Facebook, Instagram and Twitter accounts for that website since I was very busy on them during the convention. This event is my last convention for the year but don’t worry, I’ve lined up some that are specifically being covered right here on “The Chronicles” once the bell turns us over to 2018. Stay tuned and be sure to get the rest of your holiday shopping done. You don’t have too many days left.
