It’s that time of the year again and it means presenting some of the awesome Christmas In NYC sights that I find while on my normal adventuring. Once again I was starting my night out with dear friends in honor of the holiday season and as I did last year I began my quest for some of the trees that were set up in the general vicinity. You’ll see those soon enough but now its time to enjoy the Saks Fifth Avenue facade presentation. For those just joining the website and in the unaware, this is an annual light show that is shot onto the Fifth Avenue facade of the famous department store. I had gotten here just in time and used my point and shoot Samsung to secure the visual. It’s only a few minutes long so please sit back and relax while the clip and music plays through.
As usual I hope that you have enjoyed this seasonal capture. With this years clip, I felt I was just a little too close to the street and that made my visual a little too tight for my liking. Last year I had wanted to be in or around this spot but still think that my little Samsung was too close. Please stay tuned for some additional Holiday fun for the season as my Christmas In NYC posts continue.
I was out with friends last week and after the holiday fun, went on some adventuring to finish my Christmas Tree hunting and to see if I could snag the always impressive display by Sak’s Fifth Avenue. Luckily, just as I had hit the corner the next presentation was set to begin so I shot from where I stood with the trusty Samsung point and shoot.
I hope that you liked it, I think next time I am going to try and get this a little more in the center of the area since some part of this were hard to see. Stay tuned for some additional Holiday fun for the season as my Christmas In NYC posts continue.
I was out with friends just the night before and after our gather I felt that finishing up what I was referring to as my “Christmas Tree Hunt” explorations would be a great idea. I still needed the Rockefeller Center and Bloomberg Building ones and while heading down to one of my mapped out locations I noticed the windows at Saks Fifth Avenue and since it was late enough to not have a large crowd filtering past, I snapped some images for you all to enjoy. The display was called “Land Of 1000 Delights” and I’ll let you peruse.
Hello my dear readers and a very Merry Christmas to you all if you are indeed celebrating it like we do here in the creative confines of the PiercingKen Sanctum Sanctorum. I’m a little behind in getting this posting online today and that was based on my needing to pull a lot of the photos off of the new phone as opposed to how I usually did this with my little point and shoot camera. That said, here are a whole bunch of Christmas themed visuals and be sure to stick around until the very end because that is the place to see all of the giant Christmas trees that we snapped as well. I’ll keep the banter light and let these photos do the talking. Enjoy.
“It’s my most wonderful blog, of the year…..fa la la la la la, la la la la…..” I realize that I have mixed up two entirely different Christmas songs but yes my dear readers, it is that time of the year that I bring to your attention for hopeful visual entertainment, a myriad of Christmastime images that I had encountered during the weeks little up to Christmas Day. Let’s start out at my own abode, the headquarters of the PiercingKen Blog 🙂
