Hey my kind readers, so as you can tell from our posts, I was clearly keeping busy as January moved towards its close by attending the aforementioned Progressive Boat Show and the New York Times Travel Show which were both taking place at the Jacob Javits Center. When I arrived too early for one of the events, I learned that something called “BroadwayCon” was happening on the other side of the convention center and I knew that I just had to see what that was all about.

Luckily, I ran into some organizer staff and quickly discussed my outlet and our premise of supporting events such as this one and they invited me to walk around in the brief time that I had before I needed to get back to the other previously scheduled convention.  I snagged their colorful event program and began to walk around to see what was happening.

BroadwayCon @ Jacob K. Javits Center

Their website says “It is a three-day expo where fans can meet and interact with their favorite Broadway stars. It’s a showcase of some of Broadway’s newest and most exciting shows. It’s a place where industry professionals can work one-on-one with the next generation of up-and-coming performers. Most of all, BroadwayCon a place where fans can come together celebrate their passions and revel in the magic that is the theatre”. – Sounds like a good time to me.
