Now In Theaters: “Jumanji: The Next Level” (12/13/2019)

Today is the day that the Sony Pictures feature “Jumanji: The Next Level” opens in theaters everywhere. The Premise: Unknown to his friends, Spencer kept the pieces of the Jumanji video game, and one day worked to repair the system in the basement of his grandfather’s house. When Spencer’s friends, Bethany, Fridge, and Martha arrive, they find Spencer missing and the game running, and decide to re-enter Jumanji to save him. Spencer’s grandfather, Eddie, and his friend, Milo Walker, hear the commotion, and inadvertently get sucked into the game too. The teenaged friends must help Eddie and Milo get used to their in-game avatars and get them to help find Spencer and escape Jumanji once again.

Presenting: The 2019 Gotham Independent Film Awards Winners

Back in October, I shared the nominations for the Gotham Independent Film Awards with the readership and this was the very first time that I was broadcasting this particular awards show to our audience. I mentioned that I don’t really follow much of the independent releases these days and lean more towards Warner Brothers, Universal and Disney for the superhero and monster stuff. With that being said, I am very happy to share the announced winners for the 2019 Gotham Independent Film Awards. For this rundown I’ve even left the nominated so you can see just who beat who.

Sony Pictures: “Jumanji: The Next Level” Final Trailer

Back in July, we returned to the world or Jumanji with the first trailer for the upcoming adventure film “Jumanji: The Next Level” and if you are a bit of a stickler in terms of following all related things and wish to see that post just click HERE for that. A few days ago on Halloween, the studio shared the Final Trailer and I present that to you down below along with some premise, casting and visuals. Enjoy.

Now Streaming: “The Dark Crystal: Age Of Resistance” on Netflix (8/30/2019)

It was just two weeks ago or so that I shared the full Official Trailer for the Netflix Original Series “The Dark Crystal: Age Of Resistance” over on my PiercingMetal website and if you missed that clip just click HERE since its going to be helpful if you plan in delving into the show. It’s been two years since we’ve explored the world of Jumanji with “Jumanji: Welcome To The Jungle” and that means a sequel is just about right by now.
