It’s surely been a productive Monday for us here at the Media Command HQ as I’ve already shared updates about the upcoming “Shang-Chi” movie trailer and the reunion of Mudvayne over on the PiercingMetal.com website. Now its time to address the recently announced nominations for the MTV Movie & TV Awards. Sometimes I will dissect this kind of list for use on the Metal Geek side of the fence but this time I have enough content flowing there so let’s peruse these nominees. Presenting: The 56th Annual Academy Of Country Music Awards Winners

The winners of the 56th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards were recently revealed and I’ve rushed out the rundown for your reading pleasure. Due to scheduling conflicts on some items I was doing, I didn’t manage to watch the broadcast but that is fine since I didn’t really listen to a lot of Country Music this past year. Though we often laud the best of the best here on “The Chronicles” with our awards show narratives, there comes a time when the attention is paid to the worst of it all and that is where “The Razzies” come into play. The full title is the Golden Raspberry Awards and the nominees for this past years most awful of it all are listed below for your perusal. I’ll return at the close with some editorial thoughts.

Presenting The 27th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards Nominations

The Press Release:
Nominees for the 27th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards honoring outstanding individual, cast and ensemble performances for the past year* were announced this morning by Lily Collins (Emily in Paris, MANK) and Daveed Diggs (Snowpiercer, BLINDSPOTTING, The Good Lord Bird) via Instagram Live. The nominees for outstanding action performances by film and television stunt ensembles were announced this morning by Jason George (Station 19) and Elizabeth McLaughlin (Grand Hotel) who were introduced by SAG-AFTRA President Gabrielle Carteris. The 27th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards will be simulcast on TNT and TBS on Sunday, April 4, 2021, at 9 p.m. (ET) / 6 p.m. (PT). An encore will air on TNT at 11 p.m. (ET) / 8 p.m. (PT).
