Here’s The 59th Annual Grammy Award Winners List

As 2017 continues to get itself into gear, I’ve decided to use “The Chronicles” as a platform to showcase the winners list rundown of the assorted awards shows that come at us during the year. I felt this would be some good content for the larger media side of the creative fence. Last night the Grammy Awards were given out for so many genres of popular music it will make your head spin. They have some “Rock” and “Metal” categories which I speak a little about over on PiercingMetal, but that is generally done to fire up our readers should something important be overlooked. Let’s get on with the rundown that was culled from numerous other entertainment mediums for your benefit. It’s quite a list so I’d get another cup of coffee if I were you.

Sharing My Swarm 2016 Year In Review

It’s without question that I consider myself a very active Social Networker and while I have the expected Facebook profile, I am using things like Yelp, Foodspotting, Foursquare and Swarm much more when it comes to my visits to clubs, restaurants and bars. Each of these networks offers me the ability to share over to Facebook but to be brutally honest I don’t always feel like doing that. Swarm is connected to Foursquare and is the “check in” app that they created. Essentially you arrive at a place and find it on Swarm and log it in. Each check in earns you phony coins and shows you a “leader board” against those in your friends list. I get a kick out of it and recently was sent an email denoting my 2016 highlights. I downloaded the images and figured I would speak about some of them in a site post. Here we go.

Swarm calculated that I checked in some “622” times but the actual number is much higher since I didn’t always remember to do it. It happens.

I’m almost embarrassed by it disclosing that I like going to bars. It’s true that they are often the pre-concert pit stop to meet friends and to eat but in my defense I didn’t always have a drink of alcohol. I’m a lightweight and last year I did quick a few months without anything of the sort in my system, but that is a topic for another post – maybe 🙂

Here’s The 59th Annual Grammy Award Nominations List

Greetings friends its time to sit back with a comforting beverage and peruse the list of Grammy Awards nominations as they were recently released to the public and I like to share this kind of stuff over on “The Chronicles” since its never bad for attention. Sure my focus is mainly on the Hard Rock and Metal side of the fence but that is for the PiercingMetal.com website and don’t worry, I plan on dissecting those categories for a post over there as well. Let’s get on with the rundown that was culled from numerous other entertainment mediums for your benefit. It’s quite a list so I’d get another cup of coffee if I were you.

PiercingMetal Goes To NY Comic Con 2016

Hey there readers of the Chronicles Of PiercingKen, I’m here today to tell you that I am once again exploring the massive event known as NY Comic Con as a member of the Press. The convention actually started yesterday but my first post went up on the PiercingMetal.com site a few short hours ago. I’ll be stockpiling my visual finds on that website until I run out of things to post. To see all of the adventurous fun all you need do is click the logo below as that will transport you over to the music and pop culture site. The tag will present all of the posted narratives from the convention and since this runs for a few days and we have numerous posts to share, you might want to check now and then return in a couple of days to see more until I am finished. Based on the photos that I took during the first day, I anticipate no less than “10” narratives on PiercingMetal. I’ll be back with more conventional PiercingKen.com stuff as soon as possible.

Please Note: Since this is a signpost to another resource, the means to comment here have been disabled. You can leave topical thoughts on any of the posts that suit your fancy on the PiercingMetal.com website. Also, if you are a fan of Instagram, you can check out the Official account by clicking HERE. A ton of additional images from the convention have been uploaded there for your enjoyment.

Hitting “2000 Posts” With Tumblr; A Personal Record :)

tumblr logo

Hey there readers, this is just a little sharing of some fun news that I received about one of the Social Networks that I use to better broadcast all this entertainment media stuff to you with. Apparently I’ve reached “2000” posts in the Tumblr account for PiercingMetal.com and if you are wondering why I am saying this here on PiercingKen as opposed to the other website, well there is a method to my madness 🙂

Click Image For Our “Tumblr” 🙂

For the longest time I was using the PiercingMetal Tumblr account as a feeder of that websites posts and its Twitter account but over the last year I have integrated this lifestyle blog into it as well to allow me to showcase our adventures in the real world that get documented here. Also, since I am loving the Instagram medium for both sites, there are times when images will get broadcast on the Tumblr account as well. Those accounts are really two sides of the same creative coin so I hope you are checking them out once in awhile. It’s all 100% original stuff and not other peoples images or photos like some other websites like to do. Sadly I have to close this post up as there is a mountain of things to do on both of the mediums along with the mandatory social networking so let me say “thanks” if you are one of the folks that follows the account or at least reads it from time to time. With all the myriad of outlets currently online I’m very appreciative of every single click. See you soon. KP

Update 10/1/2020: Since the time of this announcement, the PiercingMetal Tumblr has been rebranded as the Ken Pierce Media Tumblr and all links now reflect this change. This rebranding makes it all the more comprehensive and entertaining going forward.
