Okay so now that I’ve shared the larger news announcement from the Toy Insider press team AND shown all of these items in a post of their own (seen HERE and HERE ICYMI), now its time to bring you with me around the show starting with the entry to the wonderful Current at Chelsea Piers event space.
The signage at the entrance makes sure to let you know who will be participating at the event and this is great should you be arriving uninformed.
This amazing balloon sculpture wizard greeted everyone and there was also a batch of balloon presents. The attendees were encouraged to do a photo op which I bailed on as I was more eager to catch up with contacts and also get a bit of water as I was parched for some reason.
A few mascots were roaming the room and they were going over especially well with those influencer kids that we find attending.
Now at the “Holiday Of Play” there is a staff walking around with tasty bites and this is not one of those yummy treats but something a little more awesome. Stuffed marshmallows!!! Stuffed Puffs is their name and trust me you want these.
Here are the offerings from a new exhibitor to the show, the Nylint Toys company. Apparently this is an older company that is being brought back. I did a video with their owner that will premiere on YouTube soon.
The folks at VTech had a number of awesome things on display and we always love seeing what they have going on.
Though they barely had any space for their offerings, the folks at Farco Toyco were really able to show off their “Connecto” product and I liked talking to them so much that we did a video for the Channel as well.
When you need something to squish, you def need something from Crazy Aaron’s “Thinking Putty” line. I just love their stuff.
Let me wrap this one up right here. I will have some more in an additional installment coming up tomorrow or the next day if something else hits my queue that must make me pause these visuals. Suffice it to say I was having a grand old time and am glad to be participating.
