Greetings friends and wayward travelers who’ve chanced upon this neck of the Internet woods. You’ve arrived at the continued presentations from this years New York International Auto Show which was taking over the Javits Center. The previous links can be found HERE and Parts 1 through 5 were from the Media and Industry Day. The fine folks in their media command offer attending press a courtesy pass to return when the general public does and while this event has been running for a few days we like to come back to see what its like as it heads towards its closure. These images come from “The Dub Show Tour” which is super-powered hot rods that are all decked out, showcase models with giveaways and to see some of the vendor space that gets set up in the upstairs area. Since this will be the final weekend, I am rushing out this first of a couple of chapters so the interested can get a move on. Let’s go.
There are so few chances to get photos of myself in these narratives that The Dub Show Tour is the perfect place to get some of the candids with the promotional models. Some of them are well known and do this for a living and even were giving out signed photos to the folks interested in having them. I am fine with the simple photograph for the website and of course our Instagram profile. Thank you ladies for making the day all the more special and positive.
I know I talked about the means to build a mini-figure from the Ford booth out of LEGO, but as I passed by they offered to take my photo with the giant figure and despite the “one per visitor” signage, they let me make a few more so I could give them away. I know just the people to hand them over too but that’s not information for this narrative.
We also might have showcased this earlier in the story but I liked it so much I had to add it as the closing image on this next to last chapter of the full exploratory adventure. A real live “Hot Wheels” car. So awesome.
That’s going to bring me to the end of this installment. I still have a few more photos to showcase from my return and I will be posting them in another chapter tomorrow. Thank you all for coming along, I hope that you found some enjoyment in this. Remember to follow along with our social networks to see more coolness from the event along with scores of other stuff that we get up to. Just give a “Follow” and “Like” the posts to your hearts content via Facebook, Instagram and Twitter. See you next time around.
