Hello again my friends and welcome back to my coverage of the 2018 “Sweet Suite” which is an event that’s organized by the folks over at The Toy Insider. If you are somehow just joining us today for some reason, then you are going to want to click HERE first so you can enjoy the two chapters that preceded this one.  Let’s go.

Nintendo had a small section of their own which was quite popular.  Several new and recent games were on display to try out and those attending were able to try and win a prize.  I am a TERRIBLE gamer so it took me a little doing.

These little mushroom creatures were the prize and aren’t they just the cutest thing?  You know you want one.  I sure did.

This was cute and a part of the “Bravest Warriors” series.  He is “CATBUG”.

Comic books!  We love comic books and if your following the kind of stuff I serve up over on PiercingMetal in our “Comics” Category you already know that.  Sadly, these were just for display and not to take away from the show.

I couldn’t resist the chance to pose with Catbug since they so kindly offered to take my photo with him.

If you are a fan of the Wizarding World of Harry Potter, then you might want to get your hands on one of these light-painting wands by Wow Stuff.  I wonder if they come in a villain model hehehehe

These two were a part of the “Cosplayers Getting Coffee” series and I must admit that its a very new thing for me.   I’m going to have to tell my friends Nadya Sonika, Marcy Lee and Steamed Eggs about this so they can look into participating.

Please excuse me but I need to show Mojo Jo Jo that no one messes with our friends in the Powerpuff Girls.

I met the folks from Roblox at Book Expo America and thought their stuff was pretty cool.  There is a lot to this property so I advise clicking their link at the close for the most information.

I grew up with Play Doh and I guess conventional clay and Silly Putty.  Today there are numerous products like this and one of the cooler ones is the Mad Matt-r by Fat Brain Toys.

Here is some coolness from Cortex Toys.  They had several interesting items on display including a paper airplane maker.  We actually tried that out at the American International Toy Fair this past February but sadly didn’t secure a video of it.

I’m going to be straight with you and say that I just love all of the stuff that Crayola has been bringing to the creative table these last few years.  During Toy Fair, I always make it a point to explore their booth so I can share the news with friends and their kids.

Then there is LEGO and what needs to be added about this amazing company that hasn’t been said already about ten times.  Unique models and super awesome playsets.  Sure the stuff is a little bit higher in price than some other things but you are paying for excellence here my friends.

I’m amazed at the amount of LEGO minifigs that one can collect.  I mean you can end up with a collection of hundreds of these and luckily they will not take up that much space.

The folks from Moose Toys made some superb miniatures that just beg you to start a collection of.  Check out these “Little Live Pets” series of playthings.

Alright its time to go and my ride is here waiting for me.  Oh I am kidding of course but this is the 50th Anniversary Camaro that celebrates Mattel’s “Hot Wheels”.  I saw this car at the Auto Show earlier this year and its a beauty.

That brings us to the end of this adventure my friends and I hope that you enjoyed it. We certainly enjoyed participating in this always fun-filled Toy Insider event and hope to be a part of the folks exploring their annual “Holiday Of Play” gathering later in the year. If we attend you know you can count on some visuals and topical thoughts about what we’ve seen.
