Hello my Friends and welcome back to some trade show adventuring. As we’ve tweeted about already, “The Chronicles of Piercing Ken” were attending the NY NOW Winter Market which had taken over the main floor of the Javits Center but upstairs in the River Pavilion was the Curve New York show which is the place for shop owners to find the latest and greatest in intimate apparel and sleepwear.

I’ve attended this event a few times in the past and have met some truly innovative designers but with this being a trade show that’s looking to conduct business its not always easy to get them to chat about their offerings.

We did chance upon our new friend Pearls Daily who is a burlesque performer and was once again premiering some designs by Chantelle X in a setup called “The Boudoir”. Here’s a couple of snaps of Pearls. I did a brief chat with her for our YouTube Channel along with a short performance. She is awesome.

Intimates and sleepwear are not only relegated to the ladies but the men as well. This chap is representing Boy Box and also on their promotional posters. Look closely.

During our chat, Pearls told me she would be modelling a different outfit later on in the day so I returned to add some additional snaps.

Bonks was a unique idea and I was able to add a short conversation with their founder.

Kudos to the “Mey” section. There has been a Made In Germany pavilion over the last couple of visits to this show and they always have coffee, soda and some light snacks that help you get through the show.
