Tonight’s the night for the reveal of the annual MTV VMA’s which are the Video Music Awards winners. Now I know you are probably chuckling at this since MTV isn’t as known for the videos as much anymore and seems to be more about the Reality Shows but the ceremony is a popular one and it was awesome to know that it would be taking place at the Prudential Center in Newark, NJ. Based on scheduling and that so little emphasis is on my own favored musical genres, I wouldn’t be in attendance but here is the rundown of the winners that were announced during the broadcast. As is my standard with such events, I have left the nomination names as well so fans can see who the winners were up against.

Piercing Ken Thoughts: So there you have it, congratulations to all the winners. We didn’t actually watch the broadcast and checked assorted online mediums and breezed through the program after we had a lot of it on the DVR. Did your favorite artists win at the end of the day? I will admit that I was happy for the RHCP and to see Cheech and Chong introducing them. Okay that part I watched but I am not the biggest followers of today’s Chili Peppers and prefer the original legacy stuff but that’s just me. My critique of what I breezed through was that despite its more than three-hour running time, the curious had to refer to the MTV website to see the other winners that they didn’t get to. I was also unhappy that there was no In Memoriam segment for those artists that had left us during the past year. To me, this is an important segment and lets the fans remember them respectfully care of the broadcast. So wrapping this up I wonder what you all thought about it. You can chime in down below in the comments section and let me know what you think. I will see you again soon. Please stay safe out there.
