The time has come for the biggest announcements in cinema for the previous years releases as The Oscar nominations for 2023 have been announced. Piercing Ken Thoughts: Since this is such a lengthy rundown I am going to keep my editorial mumblings short and to the point. Last year I didn’t see a whole lot of movies that I wanted to. I never got around to seeing “Top Gun: Maverick” or “Everything, Everywhere All At Once” or even “Avatar: The Way Of Water” but was behind all of the Marvel Studios and Sony superhero stuff along with the Warner Brothers releases of the same kind. There are a number of films that I still wish to see and one of the things I like about their nominations is that it pushes me in the direction of checking stuff out. So as I wrap this up nice and early in the morning, I wonder what you out there in the readership think about it all. Are you pleased with the nominations for what The Academy has determined to be in the running for the best out of the batch? Please chime in down below in the comments section to let me know if you think some other films should have been nominated as well and place them in there for observation. Of course if you are curious what the Worst in cinema is for the past year, I recently posted the nominations for the Golden Raspberry Awards which you can find easily by clicking HERE. That’s it for now, see you next time. Please keep safe out there.
