A few weeks ago I was visiting friends upstate and one of the things my buddy likes to do when I am there is keep my time occupied with the coolness of the area. He knows that I love blogging up the sights that I see and felt that a quick visit to the Orange County Choppers complex in Newburgh would be time well spent. He was right. So out came the little point and shoot and I snapped with fervor as I walked around the showroom.
If the name of this place seems familiar that is because it is the subject of a Reality Television program called “American Chopper”. The series airs in reruns on The Discovery Channel but had ended about a year before my visit after 10 seasons.
As we head into the main showroom I want to stress how this is going to be a mostly photographic presentation with little dialogue from me. Whenever possible I also photographed the sign next to the bike so it pretty much explains what you are seeing and didn’t need more from me. Here we go.
As with any place such as this there is a gift shop to purchase from. Here are a few visuals from that part of the space.
There is also a bowling alley and cafe but there was very little time to sit down and enjoy that aspect since I had a train to catch very soon.
So that is that and its all that I have for you to enjoy with this post. I hope you enjoyed it all and that have marked on your list as something to do if you are in the vicinity. Their website link below will keep you informed on what they are up to and of course lines out how you get there so do make a plan.
