PiercingMetal Went To Liberty City Anime Con 2016

Hello there my fine feathered friends of “The Chronicles Of Piercing Ken”; I’m using the website this afternoon to once again direct you to some content that resides on my main music and media realm of PiercingMetal.com instead of over here – I’ve tended to keep the comic book related conventions there since they used to be on the “PiercingMetal Musings Blog” which many of you might know as being integrated content on the PM.com domain at this point. This convention was fun and my first ever of this kind as a member of the press. Please click HERE to be transported over to my coverage of the Liberty City Anime Con.

As I’ve done in the past, this little redirect does NOT offer you the means to leave any comments since you can do that where it makes the most sense on the assorted chapters that I’ve posted. You can however pay a visit to our Official Instagram and see some of the slightly different visuals which were snagged for that profile exclusively. You can find, follow and bring that great love to life by clicking HERE. Of course we also hope that you are following PiercingMetal on both Facebook and Twitter as well. Thank you for your attention, now back to the regular stuff from “The Chronicles Of Piercing Ken”.

Eating It Up @ BurgerFi

I’ve been wanted to try the recently opened Burgerfi restaurant in my Bay Ridge neighborhood since I first saw it but like most plans, they got shifted to the wayside until the other day.  Now the time had come and I would finally get to sample their offerings.

Once you place your order, you get one of these little buzzer devices to let you know when your meal is ready.  I chuckled at this because the place isn’t really that big so just shouting “number five” is not out of order.  Oh well.

Unboxing The Toy Insider “Sweet Suite” 2016 Schwag Box

Over the summer I attended my first-ever “Sweet Suite” which is an event that is set up by the fine folks at Toy Insider.  I had met them at this years American International Toy Fair thanks to our good friend in media Mr. Skeleton Pete. Shortly after the event, this massive box arrived and I figured it would be fun to do one of those “unboxing” posts, even though I know this stuff is better suited for a YouTube.com channel.  I opted to use the Chronicles of Piercing Ken for this post based on the event and the contents of said box being more suited to my folks with kids readership so here we go.

Okay so before I begin I will stress that this is NOT all of the stuff that was in the box. It was massive as you can see and packed to the brim. No complaints on that at all so here we go with something adorable called “Twozies”. They come care of the makers of Shopkins.

Hitting My WordPress 9th Anniversary :)

Today the notification hit my WordPress Admin Dashboard and reminded me that I had reached a new personal milestone as one of the users of this blogging software. According to the notification I have now been a registered user of WordPress for nine years and its been a great boon to my creative world for sure. Below is the updated graphic that I was presented with.

Photo - WordPress - 9th Anniversary

I love sharing the webcentric anniversaries here on the Chronicles and to reiterate what this one actually means, its not a creative scribe anniversary but instead means I have been using the WordPress software for nine years. Some might remember that I originally began my forays into blogging by using the Blogger tools but I preferred the way WordPress flowed for me and that it could be installed right under my dotcom names. PiercingMetal.com hit its 11th Anniversary this year and PiercingKen.com its 6th and I’ve been a full WordPress creative house since 2014 which permits a lot more fluidity in my creative edge. I no longer even miss the old static design in the slightest since by 2014 the smallest update required so much work. While there is still a substantial amount of “legacy” content to integrate into PiercingMetal.com, across the board collectively it looks like this:
