Back in July, I attended an event called “Sweet Suite” which was a part of the larger “Blogger Bash” conference and was set up by the fine folks at Toy Insider. It was a good time for sure but now we are diving in to another event that they do called “Holiday Of Play”. To give you a better idea of what this one is, I reached back in time to their own website where it was lined out as…

The sign in the lobby sent us up to the penthouse of this Manhattan skyrise and when we close up on this one I will make sure to post a visual from “way up here”. Next up is the “step and repeat” for those who wanted a quick photo op.
The folks at ReedPOP have launched a brand-new Science Fiction convention called “Star Trek: Mission New York” and I attended this for the PiercingMetal website. Readers of “The Chronicles” who find this stuff interesting can check that out by clicking HERE.

I’ve been wanted to try the recently opened Burgerfi restaurant in my Bay Ridge neighborhood since I first saw it but like most plans, they got shifted to the wayside until the other day. Now the time had come and I would finally get to sample their offerings.
Once you place your order, you get one of these little buzzer devices to let you know when your meal is ready. I chuckled at this because the place isn’t really that big so just shouting “number five” is not out of order. Oh well.
Over the summer I attended my first-ever “Sweet Suite” which is an event that is set up by the fine folks at Toy Insider. I had met them at this years American International Toy Fair thanks to our good friend in media Mr. Skeleton Pete. Shortly after the event, this massive box arrived and I figured it would be fun to do one of those “unboxing” posts, even though I know this stuff is better suited for a YouTube.com channel. I opted to use the Chronicles of Piercing Ken for this post based on the event and the contents of said box being more suited to my folks with kids readership so here we go.
Okay so before I begin I will stress that this is NOT all of the stuff that was in the box. It was massive as you can see and packed to the brim. No complaints on that at all so here we go with something adorable called “Twozies”. They come care of the makers of Shopkins.
