I’m talking about non other than The Toy Insider’s “Sweet Suite”, which is a toy industry expert curated happening that showcases some amazing companies and their upcoming awesome. The Orchard Announces Lineup for 6th Annual “Ten Band One Cause” Pink Vinyl Campaign

The Orchard today is pleased to announce the 6th Annual “Ten Bands One Cause” pink vinyl campaign in support of Gilda’s Club NYC, a charity that provides free emotional and social support for cancer patients and their families.

This fall The Orchard and its label partners will release a run of limited edition pink vinyl albums from 10 participating artists –John Prine, Third Eye Blind, Spiritualized, Sunn O))), Amanda Palmer, Courtney Marie Andrews, Mark Lanegan, Saves The Day, Colter Wall and Lacuna Coil. The titles will be available for purchase from September 27-October 25 at vinyl-selling music retailers nationwide with proceeds benefitting Gilda’s Club NYC.

The Premise: In 1969 Los Angeles, a television actor and his stunt double embark on an odyssey to make a name for themselves in the film industry. Featuring a large ensemble cast, Once Upon a Time in Hollywood weaves “multiple storylines in a tribute to the final moments of Hollywood’s golden age.”

Here’s The 2019 MTV VMA Nominations

Hey there my friends, it seems as though we’ve arrived at the time of the nominations for the coveted MTV VMA (which is the Video Music Awards for those not in the aware). The show will air in late August and take place at the Prudential Center in Newark, NJ. I don’t follow the network and most of these artists based on my own musical interests but I am always happy to share these kinds of awards to our readership since their own interests do not always reflect my own. Tribeca Film Festival Announces 2020 Dates and Opens Submissions

The Press Release:
The Tribeca Film Festival, presented by AT&T, announced that its 19th edition will take place April 15-26, 2020 in New York City. Since its inception in 2001, Tribeca has been a platform for new work from established filmmakers and discoveries from emerging voices, while exploring innovations in storytelling across film, TV, VR, online, music, gaming and more.

Submissions for the 2020 Festival will open on August 19 via Tribeca’s website or FilmFreeway for feature and short films; episodic and online storytelling; virtual and immersive; and branded entertainment. Under the purview of Cara Cusumano, newly named Festival Director, Tribeca will continue its tradition of curating a program that unites artists and diverse audiences to support great storytelling.

Last year’s Festival featured a slate of feature films; acclaimed shorts programming; Tribeca N.O.W. (New Online Work), a showcase of artists working in the online space; Tribeca Immersive; Tribeca Talks; and Tribeca TV with series world premieres including Emmy-nominated Chernobyl, breakout hit The Hot Zone, and more. Tribeca celebrated diverse voices with 40% of the feature films having one or more women directors, people of color directed 29% of the feature films and 13% of the feature films were from individuals who identify as LGBTQ+. The Festival hosted Tribeca Celebrates Pride, an event honoring the 50th anniversary of the Stonewall riots with a day of conversations. Tribeca X, which honors excellence in branded entertainment, expanded with program new categories and a day of conversations with innovators at the intersection of advertising and entertainment.
