Due to the continuing surge in Covid-19 Omicron variant cases in New York City, the inaugural edition of the Travel & Adventure Show has been postponed from its original date at the end of January, and will instead take place in the middle of March. The statement from the shows organizer and CEO John Golicz, has been added for your review.
“Our Travel & Adventure Show Team has been busy working non-stop planning America’s Favorite Travel Shows across nine major US cities. Our first consideration is always to produce the best shows in the industry for Travel Enthusiasts in both a productive and safe format.
With the fast surge in the Omicron variant of COVID-19, particularly in the New York Metro / Tri-State area we have decided it would be prudent to move our inaugural New York Travel & Adventure Show to March 19-20, 2022 at the Javits Convention Center.”

Piercing Ken Thoughts: This news makes the most logical sense because its just too dangerous to have a large public event with the cases surging. You might recall our sharing the news about the cancellation of the annual Toy Fair over on the Ken Pierce Media site and if you missed that just click HERE to see that update. When the new dates come closer, I will be looking into attending as we used to love exploring the now sunset New York Times Travel Show and if you’re interested in any of those visuals and narratives please click HERE. I’ll wrap this one up now and say please feel free to chime in with your own comments if you were planning on attending or were locked into going. See you next time, please stay safe out there and maintain that distance and wear your mask. Ciao.
