The Statement:
We wanted to reach out and let you know that we are moving the dates of the NYC Hot Sauce Expo to October 16 & 17, 2021. As more and more people are getting vaccinated and businesses are starting to open up we thought it would be best to postpone the event for just a little longer. Safety of ticket owners, staff and our hot sauce vendors has and will always be our top priority.
The tickets you have purchased are 100% good for the October dates. If you cannot make these new dates I completely understand and will 100% grant you a refund.
We are bummed that we have to move the dates but we are also super excited about October. Things are moving in the right direction and we can see the light at the end of the tunnel. We apologize for any inconvenience but we hope you can understand. We will keep the beers on ice and have plenty of hot sauce for everyone to buy and sample in October.
Thanks you so much for understanding and cant wait to see everyone in Brooklyn on October 16th & 17th.

Piercing Ken Thoughts: Considering “where” we are in the stages of the still infiltrating virus and the means in which the populace of the region are being vaccinated the rescheduling to later in the year doesn’t surprise me at all. Truth be told, I wasn’t even remotely considering attending since I am not on track to get the vaccine until the summer ends based on the way its being handled by the city. I should have it by October and provided events are able to be “worked” in the capacity that we hope they are I will hopefully attend. I hope nothing else changes and finds the festival postponed for a second year but only time will be the gauge of that. What do you readers think? Will you be attending whether you are vaccinated or not? Chime in down below. See you next time and be safe out there.
