Though it’s been a few months since the last reference, I’ve posted about the film “Glass” a couple of times already in posts about the First Trailer and the Second Trailer which you can enjoy by clicking the hyperlinked text. Each of them feature some cool promotional posters so do take a moment to do that and to refresh yourself with the film that brings M Night Shyamalan’s trilogy to its close. “Glass” opens today in theaters everywhere so let’s review the main poster, premise and casting.
Premise: Following the conclusion of Split, David Dunn pursues Kevin Wendell Crumb’s superhuman persona of The Beast in a series of escalating encounters while the shadowy presence of Elijah Price, going by “Mr. Glass”, emerges as an orchestrator who holds secrets critical to both men.
The Cast/Characters:
James McAvoy as Kevin Wendell Crumb/The Horde
Bruce Willis as David Dunn
Samuel L. Jackson as Elijah Price/Mr. Glass
Anya Taylor-Joy as Casey Cooke
Sarah Paulson as Dr. Ellie Staple
Spencer Treat Clark as Joseph Dunn
Charlayne Woodard as Mrs. Price
PiercingMetal Thoughts: As it turns out I never did manage to get to see “Split” despite the most valiant of efforts. My initial plan was to watch “Unbreakable” again and then follow it with the next “chapter” so to speak now that we all know they are connected but the holidays took over so much of my time and well, here we are. It’s okay though because I will be up to speed eventually and since I didn’t love “Unbreakable” in the first place, I’m not too worried about when that happens. Right now I am pretty much ensconced in the planning for the February Toy Fair and all of the news that will need to be shared here from that convention and let’s not leave out the excitement for the upcoming Marvel Studios films of “Captain Marvel” and “Avengers: Endgame” whose trailers can be conveniently viewed by clicking the titles. Considering when those last reveals were one has to assume a new clip or two is in order but I digress, this is a post about “Glass” and I wonder how interested you are in seeing it early in its theatrical run. Please chime in down below with your thoughts and before you leave enjoy some additional promotional posters. Remember, no spoilers if you do see it but please do say whether you liked or disliked it.
