The continuation of a series years after what we last remember the characters being a part of isn’t all that new an idea anymore and if its done properly it can be quite enjoyable. For instance, the “Star Trek” franchise fanatics saw this with “Picard” and that’s actually getting a second season in the coming months as well but back to the subject at hand which is the hit streaming show “Cobra Kai” which brings us back to the world of “The Karate Kid” movies. The series was originally a part of the programming of the YouTube Red streaming service who ran the first two seasons before dropping it. Netflix picked it up and continued the story with Season 3 and here we are with the trailer for its fourth season. I loved these movies but didn’t manage to see the first two seasons yet. This isn’t going to stop me from sharing the new trailer for the show along with some premise and the casting that I listed in a different post about the show. Enjoy.

Piercing Ken Thoughts: Okay, so a lot of my like-minded television and film viewing friends have raved about this show but I have not seen a single episode yet which makes me admit that I didn’t even watch the trailer that I am showcasing to the readership. As an almost lifelong fan of the comic book medium, I am one for continuity and with series that return and connect with the previous ones I fear learning something that I don’t want to know before diving in. I’m looking to get into this one but I need to do the “Lost In Space” and “The Witcher” first since both of them are much more in my wheelhouse. With that being said what do you readers think about the trailer for season four and have you been onto this series from the beginning? Remember we’ve already shared that it originally was showcased on YouTube Red which was something I wasn’t a subscriber to. You can chime in down below in the comments and remember that the new season will premiere in full on New Year’s Eve 12/31. Though we are heading to a hopefully shiny New Year, it is still a bit of a mess out there so please be cautious with yourself and around others. See you next time.
