In the past I’ve culled together some images for Mothers’s Day to wish the Mom’s of the world who read this blog a very special day but it’s never been done for Father’s Day and since I don’t want to have protesting outside of the Creative Command HQ I decided to give some equal time. This is our very first blogging wish to the Father’s out there who read this blogsite and of course my own who I got on the phone early and is probably mapping out his next visit to the golf course.
There is a funny story about these images as they were of Pop-Up cards that were left behind by a vendor/exhibitor at the recent Book Expo convention that I attended. Instead of leaving them about for the interested passerby since they had fled the building once expo was over and it became the publicly accessed Book Con, they glued them with some kind of unrelenting bond to the display stand. I liked the look of them so much that I snapped the visual and share it with you all.
Some of us still have both parents in our lives while others have none of them anymore and while some parents have split and are seldom in touch for whatever reason, there are those who remain in many facets of their children’s lives and those are the winners in my book. On this Father’s Day I tip the hat to my Pop who is a rock star in my book. Hopefully I can live up to some of the examples that he has set for my family whenever I get around to being married and having kids of my own. Yeah ladies the secret is out, the scribbler of these here notations is footloose and fancy free 🙂 See you next time for more stuff. The ideas are boundless here on The Chronicles so thanks for reading them.
