Last night, the 76th Annual Golden Globe Awards were handed out for excellence in television and film for the previous year (in this case 2018). The program was hosted by Andy Samberg and Sandra Oh and while we couldn’t tune in based on covering a rousing Heavy Metal show for the PiercingMetal.com side of the fence, I present to you the full list of nominees and who won out at the end of the day. There were some nice surprises for sure. Check it out.

Piercing Ken Thoughts: Oddly enough, I only managed to see two of the films that were in the nomination list but considering that each of them won I was pretty happy about it. I’m talking about the excellent “Bohemian Rhapsody” and “Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse”. Both of which I must add to my personal video library as soon as the Blu-ray disc is available. It’s my hope that you readers also saw these films as they are high recommendations and of course must be good based on their winning the prize right? Take my word for it that they are both money well spent. What do you think about the winners circle with this years awards? Did some of your favorites take home the prize or were they cheated and you are outraged about it all. I’d love to hear from you so chime in down in the comments section below.
