Hello again my friends and let me continue with where we left off with yesterday’s installment. We are now exploring the third and final day of the Specialty Food Association’s “Summer Fancy Food Show” and as previously mentioned this is my own third year attending. I love this show and learning about more delicious treats just makes me happy. It’s a great day to be inside the Javits Center since its so brutally hot out there. I tell you that its as hot as the South were I was visiting last week so being in the air conditioning walking the aisles taking notes and tasting samples is my kind of day. As with my earlier chapter (HERE), I will chime in as needed as the narrative plays along. Company links will live at the close.
Thought we’ve already established that we among the working press for the event, I always love to showcase the credentials which are being protected by our trust Thinktank Photo credentials holder. It’s safe to show this off since I hid my bar code and now no shenanigans can happen.
The guys from D’Oro Foods were showcasing some wonderful olive oil at the show. I find it interesting that I love olive oil but have never managed to develop a taste for the actual olive.
I could have set up base camp at Donnelly Irish Meats booth. Sausage, bacon and ham oh my.
Friends from the Polish products aisle. I met these ladies during the 2018 show and it was so nice to see them again.
Philia had a range of flavored Feta Cheese and they gave me a spicy one to take home. It was marvelous. I need to find this on the shelves.
The Creminelli section had a nice assortment of cured meats. This is my kryptonite. I love this stuff so much and was glad that I was walking so much around the convention center.
When your vodka has a giant dragon displayed you send a message. Too bad they didn’t have little miniature dragons to give out. I would have liked that.
My last delicious photo are these bags of Maddy & Maize Gourmet popcorn. They had some samples to try of course and this stuff was amaze. I highly recommend it to those who love popcorn and other snack treats like this.
So there you have it my friends. A little briefer than I would have liked from me but there was no way around missing the full day and part of the second thanks to the airlines. I still had a fantastic time and enjoyed all the tasty treats that were to be found. I’ve connected with quite a few of the reps and that might lead to even more cooking related content here on “The Chronicles”. Hmm, I best get my kitchen in order to do that the best way possible. As a reminder, you definitely want to spend some time clicking through to some of the websites that are linked below to learn more about the companies in this chapter. You’re also going to want to be on point with our assorted social networking profiles because I tend to use them a lot during the conventions before I get to website posts and I don’t want you to miss a trick. Click “Follow”, “Like” or “Subscribe” to Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and YouTube. See you again soon with whatever is coming next. I’ll keep you guessing about what that might be. Thanks for reading.
