The famed F.A.O Schwarz has announced a special event for this coming Saturday called a “Celebration of 160 Years of Toys”. I’ve shared the invite and the full details for those interested down below so do please check it out.
WHAT: Together with Rockefeller Plaza, F.A.O Schwarz will host a free, family-friendly event to celebrate its’ 160th years of toys and inspiring awe and discovery. The celebration will include live performances from magicians, Broadway Cares, American Ballet Theatre Students, and balloonist’s; with sweet treats from Magnolia Bakery and Van Leeuwen Ice Cream and others, a variety of craft activities, skating with our Toy Soldiers at Flippers, the Oscar Meyer Weiner Mobile and more!
WHO: Kids, the kid-at-heart, families, locals, tourists, fans-of-FUN
WHY: To celebrate the iconic F.A.O Schwarz toy store who has been inspiring awe and discovery for 160 years!
WHEN: Saturday October 8th from 11 to 4pm

Piercing Ken Thoughts: This sure does sound like a proper good time and I am hoping that anyone who is able to attend will drop in and enjoy what is going on. It sounds like an Instagram and TikTok dream in terms of photo and video ops and one has to be sure that numerous giveaways will be on the agenda as well as the chance to purchase stuff from the famous store.
